Northern California 2010 Thread

Who else is damned curious to see where DMB plays in Northern Cali for 2010. We've had some variety as far as locations the last few years. Shoreline has not been done since '07, Raley Field played in '06 was supposed to be played in '08, The Greek in '08, the Golden Gate Park last year, then Fresno as well. What are yall thinking they play this year? anyone with any info? I'm hoping for the Greek again but could also live with Shoreline. What about yall?

Gosh I would love a Sacramento show. Grew up in Newcastle, CA and would love to come home for a show.

I would dig a stop in Sacramento since that is my neck of the woods. A stand at the Greek in Berkeley wouldn't be bad...or shoreline if they choose. Rather have Sleep Train than Raley in Sacramento. Arco is always availible too.

Lets steer clear of FRESNO though...long drive.

Yeah buddy! I know Rocklin, Loomis and everywhere else around there like the back of my hand. Although Rocklin has grown a ton since I left for the Army in 1993.

I wish they would come back to sleeptrain, I like it so much better than Raley but maybe because I live 10 minutes away. But I also loved the Greek last year.

my .02 - SleepTrain is a nightmare to get to & out of. I would take Raley Field for the convenience........Berkeley again would be AMAZING. Yes, Fresno was a long drive, but the venue wasn't bad, and the crowd was really fun and into it. I would go there again...But it would be nice to have them play closer to Sacramento.

Would kill for Berkley again as well, incredible venue and General admission is a rare thing for DMB these days. That Fresno show was sweet, long drive but venue was decent from down in front. Killer show that one I thought

I heard that DMB doesn't come to sleeptrain anymore because of Livenation but I don't know anything about that. Plus I thought TM and LN were merging, Idk. I just hope they come somewhere closer to sac because of cancelling 08 and then not even scheduling in 09.

The only thing about Raley is that there are not as many good seats. If you're in the stands it's too far and if you're on the field, you have to be close.

I would sort of expect to see them play in the Sacramento area again this year. I'm pretty sure that last year's contract with Outside Lands prevented them from playing within X miles of San Francisco within X days. So since they couldn't to Sac, Coran and Co. looked at a map and saw Fresno, a college town a couple of hours South on CA-99.

Since I'm probably not travelling the world to see DMB this year, I'm hoping for 2x Shoreline and 1 show in Sacramento.

Cal Expo was what got me going on DMB. A great show. I like the 1 show in Sac and two in Shoreline idea. I would make all three and then decide between Alpine or the Gorge for my trek shows.

Since I'm probably not travelling the world to see DMB this year, I'm hoping for 2x Shoreline and 1 show in Sacramento.
I heard the same about the contract last year w/Outside Lands too..I am SO hoping for a Raley Field show...I think it'll happen..I do, I do!

Couldn't agree more with everything! The Fresno show was one of the best shows I've seen..even though Dave's voice was gone, it was one hell of an effort. The Berkeley experience was great as well...One can only hope!
