If this is the end of the stream might have to go back and try and identify lyrics

Loved the little breakdown he had in the new tune. Will be a fun one to learn, and can see some horns going over that part from a full band perspective. Pretty cool.

I read on the Almanac that there was a new song but I missed the show! Anyone have a recording or know anything about it?

Re: Save Our Stages Fest Oct 16-18

    my horrible transcript:

    NEW DAVE SONG
    10/18/20

Dave speak: “This is not a very old song.”

    Once I had a dream
    Stuck somewhere in between
    The water and the beach
    Both worlds out of reach

    So with elegance and style
Caught a wave and took a ride

    Yeah, empty plastic bags
Starry nights, floats into the black
Look at how she dip and dives
But no one could ever know
    How many miles she’ll go

How she does with such elegance and style
Look at how she dip and dive

    Take only what you need
Like the water and the sea
    So after we are gone
There’ll be something good to carry on

    This elegance and style
    Dancing with the butterfly

    You know, math’s no miracle
    It’s all grown mechanical
Machines (by selves? By self?) design
    To float into the sky

    With such elegance and style
    The ocean and the butterfly

I would call it something along the lines of "The Ocean and The Butterfly"
