Dave quote on being a parent?

Hoping you guys can help me out…

I vaguely remember some Davespeak where I believe he described being a parent as taking a piece of your heart, placing it into another human being, and then sending them out into the world.

Anyone know what I’m talking about and have a show date for it? Thanks.

Are you by chance talking about Sister from Live Trax 25 - 5.30.2006? Similar. Dave says before the song...

A little story first. My uh, when my sister uh and me, real real close. I'm sure you know the feeling, siblings and everything. When we were little we used to think that uh, when my sister, a little bit younger than me, and we used to think that when she was born, that uh, that somehow, God, whatever it is, switched our hearts, and took her heart and put heart in my chest, and took my heart and put mine in hers. Anyway so... this is kind of about how much I love my sister.

I had thought about that quote as well and couldn't figure out if I was merging the two topics (children and siblings) together or not. I do remember him speaking specifically about being a parent at some point though.
