Do you guys think we'll ever get the back story on why Roi quit the band during those second sessions with Batson?

I don't know if he actually did quite the band and had to be talked down by everyone in the band, but I do remember reading on these boards that thestand almost nearly logged on here once to announce the band itself is no more. So this scenario might actually have happened.

Still think, aside from production maybe, that the second batson sessions would've been better than the last two albums they released.

Tour Central has these songs recorded during that time

Shotgun
The Idea Of You
Break Free
Break For It
Corn Bread
Sister
Kill The King
Sweet Up and Down
A Dream So Real
Falling Off The Roof

Then add in #27 and Eh Hee, both played around that time as well, and that album is better than the last two

I once knew his name, but forgot it. His username here is thestand. Rarely posts in DMBc nowadays. He had knew people who knew band members, if he didn't have direct access himself.

That was before I actually had an account with ants, but I remember it pretty well and being a little freaked out, but also took it with a grain of salt. If I remember the 07 Vegas shows almost didn't happen. The rumor came out after the shows but speculation was that was why the summer tour got off to a late start that year.

After the Big Whiskey docs and press came out for the album, it settled in that it could have happened. I'm very glad it didn't.

Still crazy that he was the main reason for them considering a break up, and then a year later he was gone.

Me too. I'm glad he gave 07 a shot and we have some great shows from that tour and 08 to listen to him refreshed on.
