Re: 2021/COVID Venue Policies
I haven't posted much for the last few weeks, after having my opinions ridiculed and s&*t upon by many of the posters here.
But I wanted to come back and apologize for being so wrong. I had been accused of being full of it about everything the past year and a half, and I was. As I was told by several here, in no uncertain terms, all my worrying was just unnecessary fearmongering, and predictions last month of an upcoming surge and dark times on the horizon, now appear to have been unwarranted.
I recall how I stated I had heard that even those who were vaccinated could catch and spread the virus, but was met with attacks and demands to show proof that was the case. Once again, clearly I was wrong, and studies have now shown that if you're vaccinated, it's impossible to get infected or spread the virus to others.
Clearly everything is under control, and we can all now feel completely comfortable attending a large capacity event like DMB, without worrying about contracting the virus. The last days and weeks have shown that we're well on the way to normalcy, and by next month, Covid will be nothing more than a memory.
I can't tell you how glad I am to be wrong, so I can now enjoy the DMB concerts I have tickets to next month, without having to worry much about the virus. It's a huge relief to now know that it was all overreaction on my part.
Sorry to bring up the dead and buried Covid subject again. I'll go back into hibernation in regards to discussing it here. After all, The Shows Must Go On, and virus talk is so 2020.
