Wow , great show last night, Leo as VP very cool. I still don't see Santos as Pres but I am glad to see how this is evolving.

Truth be told I almost hope they let Alan Alda win. I would be curious to see if they can pull off a republican president.

I think they're dangling that out there by picking a california moderate like Vinnick as the republican. But i think his own party is going to go after him for his comments on religion, especially that preacher/senator. They did a pretty good job of showing the brokerage that is a convention. it's like that at the caucus level, just less intense.

Im was a huge fan of this show the first four seasons. When Sorkin stopped writting the show it went down hill fast. The quick witted remarks that always had me rolling were gone, the fast paced dialogue was slowed, the story lines were so bad at times they used astriods to bring some hype. Ive watched this season and it was almost pathetic. After last nights episode im excited about next season. I wish the President of NBC would stop being a numb nuts and beg Sorkin to come back.

Watching the season 4 DVDs, and watching this season's episodes... there's so much of a contrast. The Sorkin days were good.

The Sorkin days were great but I have really enjoyed this season. They are showing aspects of the political process that we really never got to see with the show so it has been rather refreshing. Last night was awesome by the way...

They keep it pretty accurate, but obviously take license with quite a bit.

The question is who's going down for the Space Shuttle leak? CJ or Toby.

Personally, I think CJ will. Toby knows it too... that's why he was all nervous when the one broad was telling him that someone's doing time for this one. Plus Toby recommended she get a lawyer when talking to the prosecutor.

It could work, it's only competition is Home Edition on ABC and Cold Case on CBS and that's if those shows stay in their time slots (though most likely they will)

No I don't think so...especially if he is somehow involved with that NASA nonsense...though I think it is CJ that leaked it.

I too think it was CJ that leaked it, but until the last episode I thought she might have done it with the urging of the Pres.

Personally... I bet there will be some major shakeups in the WW. It's traditional for a new Pres to have his own personal aide, so Charlie might not be around. Also, press secretarys and speech writers usually go, so that means Toby and CJ are on thin ice as well. I could see Josh being promoted to Chief of Staff but I'll be curious to see what they do with Donna, Hoynes, and I hope Goodman comes back as Walken for at least a little bit.

I think Donna definetly comes over to the Santos campaign (after all josh is in love with her). Josh has been groomed to become the COS. Imagine all the inside stuff he'll get fed from Leo. It will be interesting to see what they do with Toby, Charlie, and Will. However I don't see John Goodman making anymore appearances on the show, but if he does it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong.

I agree. At first I found her really compelling as COS, but not so much anymore.

I think we will see a lot more of the actions of the VP next season. It would be hard to move Leo from such a prominent position to a part they show every few weeks at best.

    Josh - COS
    Bailey - CD
Toby - DCOS? (i dont think thats a demotion)

    Should be interesting.
