here's a great post about Wildhorse:
Wild Horse Campground (Official Campground of Toupstown) – This campground is located approximately one mile from the
amphitheatre and they provide a free shuttle to/from the show so that everyone can drink as much as they want!!. It’s similar to
the official Gorge campground in that vehicles will be closely parked together and you’re camping on grass. There are a few trees
here, breaking the wind and providing some morning and afternoon shade. At mid-day you’ll still be roasting in the blazing sun.
The Corrall Cafe is awesome and not too expensive. The breakfast burritos and free coffee are a godsend for hungover
mornings. They serve burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, etc. all day and they're open after the show for midnight
hunger. It is pretty awesome food. Most people usually plan on eating most of their meals there so they don't have to buy
groceries, pack, and cook their meals. It's easier than cooking when you're drunk. :-)
The showers are enclosed and there are four of them. They have hot water all day. The only thing is the wait can be kind
of long. Don't forget to bring your flip-flops for showering. And, girls... there are no electrical outlets for blow dryers or
flatirons.
Other awesome things about Wild Horse:
Nice fluffy green grass
Porta-potties that are cleaned twice a day
And did I mention FREE coffee in the morning?
If you want to stay here, you should buy a camping pass as soon as the dates are confirmed. It will sell out and it will
sell out fast. If for some reason you end up not being able to go, you can sell your pass. If you do sell/buy a pass, you will need
to provide the buyer with a copy of the drivers license of the name of the person who originally purchased the pass.
