4 different covers. All came in paper bags, so you couldn't tell which one you were getting, I guess. Each one is teh bar scene, but each from a different angle.

It is hard to find...and pricey. I'm probably gonna have to visit a few other stores to find it.

Ya, it's strange. In Houston each record store has a specialty, so it depends on what you're looking for.

For classic rock I go to Black Dog records and learn and absorb as much as I can from this old hippie that knows more about music than anyone I've ever met.

For new stuff I go to Soundwaves. They have a really good selection and pretty low prices.

Cactus Records was famous back in the day but was shut down for a few years and just recently came back, so they're still building up their inventory. There's also some other place I want to visit that a friend recommended to me. The good thing about all of these places is that they're within walking distance from the house my parents just moved into...ahhh the perks of living uptown.

I've seen couple go on eBay. I'd love Nico on vinyl too but I don't even know if it was produced. I tend to think not.

Fawesome. Also being released on vinyl: Live at the Fillmore and Living With War. I really must have Massey Hall, though, in particular. 2, 200gram vinyl records?? Oh man, those are two thick slabs of wax. It will surely sound even more impeccable than the CD.

So I found The Rolling Stones (England's Newest Hitmakers) at a flea market for fifty cents the other day, kinda bad shape, but still cool to say I have their first album. I just love those kind of finds.

my fellow vinyl collectors - any fans of Iron & Wine? I purchased "The Shepards Dog" vinyl after already having purchased the cd a while back. I think its that good. So I got a code for the MP3's. since i have already purchased this twice...i really dont need these. so i am offereing up the code to the first interested party - in hopes you find Sam as incredible as I do...and maybe you will be inclined to purchase the album (or all of his albums).

I just picked up Ben Folds Five - Self Titled and Matisyahu - Youth!

I wish there was an easy way to find out how many of a certain album were pressed. I'm sure the BF5 one is super rare.

If not super rare, definitely not easy to find. If I remember correctly they had it on their site when Whatever and Ever came out, but you don't see many of them anymore.
