It appears people are receiving one email per ticket, am i wrong on that? I guess I should be happy its for the correct album??

This is ridiculous. And yes I did email them a few weeks ago and they told me they put me on the list.
Yeah you're right. I ordered 4 tickets and received 2 redemption emails. When I chose physical copy, I was able to request 2 copies. But that doesn't help people who may want 1 physical copy and 1 digital.

I emailed the WH 5/14 about replacement codes and got the redeem email today.

In my case, looks like they sent one email per order (not ticket). The first email link allowed me to choose quantity 1-4 for physical CD (bought 4 tix on the first order).

Same on the 2nd email (2nd order), also can choose quantity up to 4... If i switch it to download, it says not available yet & check back later.

Damn DIDO really left us hanging, I NEED MOAR.

How does IOY sound? Do you remember the intro? Anything on the BKBDBDBD.

Is B&BB weird at only 3.5 minutes?

How did the last song sound?

Thanks everyone. I was confused when the email said "one (1) CD or Digital copy". (and by confused i mean i actually know the difference between 1 and 2, apparently unlike some organization that will remain nameless in the sentence only) But once I clicked the link it gave me the option to choose 2 CD's.

I apologize to the warehouse for my initial overreaction to their poorly worded email. This will not happen again, until it happens again...

I just posted this in the other thread about codes, but will share here too.

You can only redeem one type of medium. Either the CD or download. You can take up to the number of tickets you bought for either CD or download.

I chose 2 CDs so I can give one to my brother. Then I had to select 2 different emails to send my other 2 ticket redemption options.

I sent one to another email of mine and got it. When I went to redeem that one, the URL was not found so I had to send ticketmaster a help email. I'm waiting to hear back.

Anyone else think She has a slight A Perfect Circle feel to it? Mainly just through the chorus.

To me, Dave's vocal delivery on the verses is similar to a Metallica song - Am I Savage.

Totally got the Metallica vibe. The chorus is basically just in line with DMB 4.0. But if they’re going in a rock direction, that’s the one I embrace most.

I'm getting this more as a vocal delivery compairision...in a good way also again.

The synth is definitely a tad cheesy live. I personally like the song tho. I would be shocked if there was not an orchestra on the album version

I will preface this with, in no way am I saying my opinion is better than anyone else's, and I'm not some jaded old fan that can't see the simplicity of the song and the fact that Dave's writing has changed since he wrote their first 3 albums. I'm truly viewing this song as objectively as possible, and as I've said before, of the 10 songs we know we've heard this is really the only one I don't care for. But unfortunately I still can't get into this song. Listening to the first verse I was able to get into the music a bit and the lyrics were a bit more tolerable, until the chorus. We all have our opinions, and I get we all have different tastes, but I just cannot get past the lyrics of the chorus, combined with that cheesy string setting on the keyboards. It's actually laughably bad to me.

In regards to the lyrics, in my opinion, part of the problem is that Dave's delivery does not sell me on what he's singing. To be honest, I got the impression last night that he's not entirely confident in the lyrics either. I was watching some of the show on Periscope and I found his delivery to be very unsure. Especially when he sings "Let the children run the show". I'm not sure how else to explain it, but it just sounds to me like he knows the lyrics are stupid and he's just trying to get through them. Even when they finished the song it looked like he was ready to move on, as if he's aware everyone knows the words are not well written.

"Bridges burn but tomorrow is another day
to feed the world and go outside and play"

I get that the message is simple and not everything has to be "The Stone", but that's just one of the stupidest lines I've heard in a song written by Dave Matthews. Yes, to me this song is just as bad as "Sometimes a man looks like a lady, but love is love, even if it's crazy" or "I wanna get inside there, the colors they everywhere". Some songs have lyrics that aren't top notch, but the music and the delivery of the lyrics can make it passable. In my opinion, this song has nothing behind it to protect it from it's incredibly poorly written lyrics. I don't know how anyone can sing something like "as far as I can see, we got to let the children lead the way" and not think to themselves how cheesy that is.
Yep. The run the show delivery sounds terrible every time. And your description of the song is pretty accurate. Nice music but the music isn't enough to cover what hes doing lyrically or vocal delivery. That song has music built for good lyrics and story telling, not what hes doing at all, its just super awkward.

I like it quite a bit, and always have. The studio recording came out really nice, and has me looking forward to hearing the rest of the songs in the studio. There were some earlier versions from 2016 where you could hear Boyd a bit and I really miss that additional sound, but it is what it is. I've said it before, but as much as I like a lot of the songs that will appear on the album, I'm very indifferent about the release. Everything going on has me pretty bummed out about this band and it's current state, whether they sound good with Buddy Strong or not. In my opinion it's time for Dave to break off and start doing his own thing. These songs could easily work without DMB as the backing band, as I think more and more the material they're writing sounds less like DMB anyway.

Exactly. The instrumentation is very simple, so you better have lyrics to back that up, and this song does not. Whereas, for comparison, "Black and Bluebird" may not be the most unbelievable lyrical achievement, but at least it has that DMB flare of old, in that it has an odd time signature, a classic sounding Dave guitar riff, a couple of solos, Carter's masterful playing and a beautiful ending.

The melody is absolutely what cripples Come Tomorrow. Along the same points as many have stated, with an infectious, emotional, and interesting melody, you can make those words carry far more meaning. Do you remember is a great example, pretty simple ideas (far better than Come Tomorrow) but the melody carrying the non Do you houhh remember parts makes all the difference. It's emotional, it's personal. If Come Tomorrow is those things to Dave, I certainly cannot tell.

I think the melody, while very simple, is infectious and some people will change their mind with the studio vocal with Brandie

I almost feel like he reached on Come Tomorrow for a song topic. We have also heard him talk about things in the recent articles about dealing with being famous and a celebrity and whether he deserves it, questioning himself, whether he lucked into it, etc. Why not write about those struggles? Seems to me that those issues are a source of great writing material. If anything that article sure made me feel for the guy, but also opened my eyes that he still has struggles he can express in songs yet he doesn't seem to do so.

Still can't fathom why it didn't make the album. By far the best of new songs IMO. I was really wanting it and Sugar Will and neither made it.

Is anyone receiving WH links that DIDN'T contact them in the past 2 weeks?

I have not contacted them to be put on whatever replacement code list they have. Don't really feel the need, either. Just curious if the only way to get the albums they owe me are to go out of my way to contact the WH?

I have not contacted them to be put on whatever replacement code list they have. Don't really feel the need, either. Just curious if the only way to get the albums they owe me are to go out of my way to contact the WH?
Emailed them two weeks ago and they responded putting me on the list but no codes yet

I got one a few weeks ago without e-mailing. Bought instants through WH, but got the redemption code/e-mail through TM.

EDIT: Maybe one of my buddies put my e-mail down for their TM ticket purchase? Who knows!

I just hope there is a decent variation in types of songs like She. Because so far, and I haven't followed the new stuff too closely, it sounds like mainly softer material with little energy to it. And that's fine in moderation, but there needs to be variety.
