The "work at Belmont" is the new arena for the Islanders, which isn't scheduled to open until the start of the 2021-22 season. I can say with almost near certainty that the Saratoga season will start earlier and run longer than usual again, and probably in 2021 as well, to allow for more unimpeded construction time. (Translation: The hotels already know there will be racing during DMB weekend and those prices are only going to get worse.)

This is more common sense but I assume they return to Holmdel next year. They skipped it this year because of the Sea.Hear.Now festival, and it always sells out. I’m looking at either July 7th or 8th the week before SPAC, or July 14th or 15th the week after SPAC.

I think itll be around 40 shows but dont think anything will happen with the 30 years in 2021.

Yeah, I think they may do the same thing for their 30th anniversary as they did for their 20th anniversary: Announce they're taking 2021 off, but then do a few Caravan shows anyway.

The upside to that is everytime they "take a year off", they always come back with a new studio album. Here's hoping for an all-new album in 2022!

I dont think they take 2021 off nor do I want them to. At this point in their career I wouldnt choose to sacrifice a year of touring for another album. They can record an album in the offseason.

If they do the Lake Tahoe show again this tour, me and Mr. Snap are all over that. And I think I may be in the minority, but the year they flip flopped the Woodlands and Dallas was wonderful for us. I would much rather spend my Sunday on that stretch of IH-10 than that stretch of IH-35.

I used the potential SPAC dates to secure a room within walking distance to the venue for a reasonable price. I just hope the dates hold. I love when the rumor mill starts up again!

Yeah agreed. I think the SPAC leak/ rumor was just a fluke that we got that so early.

November is usually the earliest we get dates. This SPAC rumor is definitely an outlier. Hopefully the dates are right, but it's worth noting that on numerous occasions I've seen dates change between just about now and the announcement.
