Re: **Official** Dave & Tim Mexico 2020

Has anyone booked two packages for two people each(4 total)? I have a group of 4, but, not friendly enough to share 2 queens.
I am a warehouse member and will book in the pre-sale. Can you do 2 separate packages in pre-sale?
I am thinking of booking a package, then gifting a package to one of our group and requesting we be grouped together.
Thanks!

Oooohhhh! Side note...Soooooo Excited to go, had a blast last year!

There are directions in the longer email message, to email for 2nd code once you have used 1st code.
Hopefully rooms will still be available - shouldn't be a problem since this is the first presale.
    Good luck!

And FYI - airline tickets direct to Cancun from Canadian cities are available now. Prices may only go up from here.
It is a VERY busy week for Canadian travellers - Feb. 17 is a holiday in most provinces - so many people go south for a week.
Consider buying airline tickets now (we actually bought ours when Phish was announced - gambling that Dave would be week before).

I mean me and my wife have the money but it sure is a lot of money. We could stay in Cancun for like a week at an all inclusive hotel for the same price with airfare minus concerts but i get the admission ticket price factors in to this. What do you think the ticket price would cost factored into the total cost? Almost 4K for 3 days and yes 3 concerts without airfare does seem like a lot no?

I was in your same boat the last two years and never pulled the trigger. Finally jumped on board this year. Finally just decided that in the end experiences are all that matter and I can’t take the money with me when I die anyway...

Also, had a good chat with Moon Palace yesterday. The said of the two hotels, the Nizuc is the quieter and more peaceful (lots of weddings there) while the Sunrise is more active and noisy with the bigger pool. So... Sunrise it is! They said it’s a 15 min walk to the venue but golf carts run every 20 min until 1am as well.

Weird question but how intimate do the shows feel compared to seeing them here in the states?

I saw some WestJets for between $700-800, and a Swoop from $350.
Those are leaving from Hamilton vs. Toronto. And all the Westjets are connecting flights whereas Swoop is direct.

Toronto prices right now are between $600 to over $1k but most are direct.

So i can fly out from the local airport, save $300 on a flight and about $150 on parking, save about 2 hours in travel time to the airport, or fly out of Toronto...... hmmmmm

It's possible, it's happened in the past. People's plans change. They do allow transfers or name changes up to a certain date.

Planning on hitting the WH presale for 3 nights on Wednesday. Do these packages typically sell out or become unavailable quickly? I’m a first timer to one of Dave and Tim’s Mexican shindigs. Anyone coming from Boston? :0)

Any warehouse members from before 12/31/09 mind sharing their D&T Mexico presale code with me tomorrow at 1pm?

Would hugely appreciate it, I am super worried that the room we want will sell out.

Last year my wife and I flew for $720 a person, direct from Detroit to Cancun both ways. I think we flew AeroMexico, which is serviced by Delta. Flights were cheaper for a while, but we waited too long and had to pay more in the end for a direct flight. It was Valentine's Day weekend last year too.

In 2017, we flew direct on Spirit for $390 a person, including all the hidden bag check fees and whatnot. Spirit isn't Delta, and it wasn't Valentine's Day weekend, so that might explain the difference.

It's worth looking into ways to maximize your credit card rewards on a trip like this too, you can usually get a few hundred dollars back that way (The flight costs above are the listed price of the tickets w/all fees and don't include any rewards or miles or anything we applied toward the purchases).

Subjectively more intimate, because 4000 people on a beautiful beach is not 17000 people in a concrete shell. But not objectively 'intimate', no. You feel like you're in a crowd, and I'm sure it looks like a crowd to D&T. Dave and Tim do seem to really enjoy these shows and always have great synergy, which isn't always the case in the States these days. It's like the difference between how DMB sounds at Spac versus most other tour stops. Spac level energy, Gorge level natural beauty, that's how I'd bill the Mexico shows.

Based on years past, I think as long as you are in the pre-sale you should be fine. I don’t get to go until Wednesday but I’m not too worried. Unless one of you veterans tells me I should be! And if that’s the case, I’d be looking for a Tuesday code as well. FOMO stress.

We went the first two years. Year 1 was a towel, beach bag, metal drink container, and possibly some other stuff I can't remember.

Year 2 was a different towel, different beach bag, and possibly some other stuff I can't remember.

The towels and water containers are nice. The beach bags were kinda junky.
