found out I made it through the second and toughest round of the application for my dream job. still a long ways to go, so for now it's just more waiting, but sooooo happy I made it through this round. Wasn't even expecting to make it this far so making it through absolutely has me walking on clouds.

Thanks! Found out today out of 28k applicants only 5k+ have made it this far and roughly 30% of us get hired. Still a long way to go but phew! I'm still in the game.

1.) checked out my parent's new house being built.

2.) took my boy into their side property to shoot his new bb gun. scared up eight deer up close when we walked up on them. apparently they just live in my parent's yard.

3.) proud my boy got daddy's shooting skills.

Seeing/hearing/watching a bunch of people get pissed over something that, by and large, doesn't affect them directly. Just seeing the mental and physical energy that people waste brings me the utmost pleasure. Sorry, not sorry.

Also, low volume of calls here at work...and getting early release in 15 minutes.

Ordered an articulating wall mount for my PC monitor earlier this week. Delivered today and had it mounted in about 20 minutes flat.

Made me pretty fucking happy to clear up a ton of clutter on my desk.
