The only new addition to the 2 night stands this summer, what do we know about this venue? Looks relatively small and it's a pricy lawn ticket vs the rest of the tour. Anybody been to the venue and can share? Intrigued and curious who will be making the trip.

The WSP fans were pretty livid with this place because it's small and kind of unorganized judging by their posts. I'm going to skip this (and I've seen every NC show for ages) and only do Charleston. The venue looks like a random shell by a flat ground with temp seats... meh.

Been to a handful of shows here. Right in downtown Wilmington so walkable to riverwalk, restaurants etc. About a 15 min drive to Wrightsville beach area if you're looking for the sand.

More pricey lawn ticket feels justified based on how close it is. There are not a lot of seats at all so the lawn is for sure closer than the larger typical spots DMB hits.

I've enjoyed every show I've been to there to be honest! Could for sure see why people are mad about it but I was excited for the venue / town to keep on adding artists (this place has gotten solid shows during its first few years). Opened just a few years ago.

I've seen The Avett Brothers, bon Iver and others there

Lived in Wilmington since 2019, been to every WSP show here. The 2021 WSP shows were disorganized, because it was literally the grand opening of the venue. It has since been fixed and is a great spot to see a concert.

Lawn tickets are pricey, because you are standing where most venues would be in a pavilion or enclosure.

Lawn seating is more flat than usual because the venue doubles as a park when concerts are not being performed.

I love seeing shows here, WSP, MMJ, Tame Impala, Glass Animals and a handful of others.

Probably the most intimate location on the docket as the venue only holds 7k people, well worth it IMHO.

As mentioned before, about a 10 minute walk from downtown Wilmington along the river with loads of bars and restaurants. Every WSP fan I have talked to after that opening night has loved coming here, so don't throw the baby out with the bath water!

Looking forward to these shows! Shocked Charlotte finally got skipped for the first time ever. Wish there was an incline in the seats for us short folk at this venue lol. Will be my first shows at Live Oak.

I want to go with a group of 5-6 to these shows, but seems like not an ideal venue for that with warehouse limit at 2 for RSVD seats. Anyone who has been there before, how big is the drop off between lawn and seats? Would I be better off just getting six lawn seats so we are all together? Just worried about the lack of incline and normally value being in a seat.

The venue is so small, there really isn't a huge dropoff. I typically get lawn seats here for that reason.

I had 2nd to last row in the seats for OAR & Dispatch last summer and it was fine. Lawn isn't much further back since everything there is small.

There's a little hill off the back left of the photo but majority of the lawn is completely flat and there's no screens except for whatever each band brings.

Practically none.
I was there for OAR & Dispatch last year and most people pregame around town at the breweries & bars and then walk to the pavilion.

See if you can book a room at Arrive. Great hotel, right downtown, with a cool garden bar area and amazing adjoining restaurant.
