(cgator41) Nice to have this thread. The negativity at TDC drives me crazy sometimes, but it's still my favorite board.

NP: 12/27/96 Fantastic show. Love the jazzy, jammy, looseness. Plus a great Let You Down and without any crown chatter

    Hey boys!

General question for all- any Live Trax (or other live releases) that really stand out over the last few years? I think the last one that got my attention was 6/8/97, which was number 40-something

LT 60 was pretty well liked which was 8.20.95. I think 8.1.98 (LT57) is also underrated along with 11.2.98 (LT53). Cow Palace was also released as a Live trax 54 and finally i think the best one out of the bunch is LT 58 which was 6.22.00. The bartender on that one is played almost in the exact way it was on the LWS which has a roi solo at the end on tenor sax.

If you like old school Dave and Tim Lt 48 is a good one from 1994

LT 50 is a classic 2004 show. Great listen.

LT 54 1996 highly regarded show

LT 56 is a 2001 show and it's truly incredible. Better than Folsom Field even.

    57 is a solid summer 98 show

58 is classic 2000 show. Early versions of LWS songs. A little sleepy in parts, but can't go wrong with 2000.

I know you're joking, but be careful. That Spence (dissident) guy was banned because of accusations like that.

Sorry, I meant FiddySpance, who was originally named dissident. He was banned almost a decade ago because he not only went out of his way to tell everyone he was refusing to donate, but speculated that Fan#41 stole the donation money.

The real joke is almost no one even donates to TDC these days, Brandon is the one mostly keeping the place afloat on his own. So there is no money for him to steal that wouldn’t be his own, and you could do worse than blowing your own money on hookers and coke.

The second I saw the site was down I emailed them and offered to help fund the site. Offer still stands, especially if the recent downtime comes with unwanted costs during the Holidays. I didn’t hear back so if someone has an email address I’d appreciate it.

Yeah, I get that. If I had more disposable income I'd donate more often, and to many things.

Still, it is easy to forget that just because we're paying for the internet, not everything is free on it.
