In the 7.28 show Boyd says something like "I love Dave Matthews passionately and I don't care who the fuck knows" and Dave basically shrugs it off...then in the 11.11 show you hear Dave jokingly yell at him between songs "Get the hell out of here/off me Boyd" as if he was grabbing/hugging/humping him...never noticed it until today, seems about right by modern standards.

Live Trax 20 - 1993 NY - Can hardly make it through Satellite. What on earth was the crowd doing with this 'love, baby' thing? Thank GOD this stopped . Anyone know when this started and ended and why they did it to begin with? The 'Whoos' in Warehouse are fine, but this just sounds awful.

Granny was still pretty new back then. In fact, it may have been one of the first "new" songs when they started getting really well known. My understanding is that Dave was really excited about the "Love..Baby!" part and wanted it to be the first single. He imagined it as being an anthem that people would sing on their way to the show or something like that. I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure there's some Davespeak somewhere to support this.

Funny. This morning when I loaded the DMBLive page there were only 29 titles listed and a search for "Malsaucy, France" came up "0 results".
