Bismarck is so good! It really gets me pumped up for the tour and to see what else they have coming our way.

Has the most potential to really grow into something special out of this newest batch here.

If I remember correctly, they did have an animated video for Bismarck. I think it was Alice In Wonderland playing cards type deal along with other things. I could be completely wrong though.

That's interesting that they had a video ready for it's debut. Unless you're thinking about the videos for Song That Jane Likes and What Would You Say.

One of my favorites since LWS/BS. Love the simple yet effective guitar riff, wordy storytelling verses, and the Chorus is really catchy. The whole band seems into it. Looking forward to another listen in Texas this weekend.

I honestly really, really dig all of these songs, but Bismarck is the one that has been in my head each of the last three mornings after waking up. I have high hopes for a new album, whenever it comes out.

    Bismarck
    Samurai Cop
    Bob Law
    VITR
    DOTHS
    B&BB
    Sugar Will
    Crazy Easy
    IOY
    Shotgun
    Kill the preacher
    Run While We Can
    new
    new
    new

This could be a great album lineup.

Hmm on subsequent listens for me, Bob Law and Samurai Cop's stock keeps going way up, but Bismark is falling. It sounds like an OK song, but it feels like album filler to me. I'm not really finding one part of it that really wows or moves me, and believe me, I'm trying.

It's a bright cheery song, and it's not unpleasant or anything by any means... but I really like the other two, and this one just isn't hitting me yet.

I feel the exact opposite, Bismarck was the clear standout of the 3 new ones from C-ville to me, I love it.

FINALLY got around to listening to this one. The little jam towards the end is awesome, and lyrics are pretty good as well. I like it.

I agree, specifically for this song.

I love the chorus, the overall sound and the song in general. But, I do think they will all grow/evolve and the transitions will improve.

As much as I love the song, the ending Jam needs some work. Jeff Coffin needs to come up with something different than the same thing he does on Mercy and a handful of other tunes that he just wails on. His Sax runs are blending into each other. Maybe I listen to too much of it, but I think Coffin could do better. It's like he's a bit timid at creating a riff on his own outside of Rashawn. Roi would have been making something up there that was memorable, not just a 2 min noodle.

I guess what I'm saying is that it's too predictable. Jeffs playing. Like branch out a bit from that sound into something else, for these new ones atleast.

Yeah, especially at the end. I can imagine a huge Carter roll before the four final hits

I really like how Dave performs on this song. He sings a great story but gives plenty of room for the rest of the band to shine. Carter and Jeff play great on this.
