I dig this song. The chorus is so catchy. It reminds me of something that I cannot, for the life of me, put my finger on. An Oasis tune? The melody of the chorus somehow reminds me of Oasis live forever. Who knows. Thumbs up.

I’m always happy to hear brand new songs, always. Having said that, the only part of the song I thought didn’t work well was the Tim/Buddy duel. That worked really well on the Crush from LT 13 with Roi and Tim. For this song, that shredding vs. whatever Buddy is playing isn’t the way. I do like Buddy. I like Tim’s layered stuff over Dave’s guitar playing. The straight up hair metal shredding stuff, for me, isn’t quite my tempo.

Reminds me of the chorus of Can’t Stop (which is my favorite part of that song). Love the tune & chorus is incredibly catchy. Like the attention to detail on the coordinated hits / horns. Cool intro to the chorus too.

Grey Street is over rated. Especially the third verse. It's words. Its just a verse of words. Nothing really original or interesting about it.

First impressions: not a fan of the basic boogie rock riff. I like the "we all need love" part of the chorus, and Dave hit those falsettos well, but I doubt he can keep hitting them as the tour wears on. The solo section was underwhelming. The lyrics on the verses need work - they don't seem to really be saying anything. Who knows, maybe it'll come off better in the context of the album.

I like the sound of the new song. With all of these songs though, with the exception of SFTW, the lyrics are so harshly put together (that’s the best way I could describe the way the lyrics sound to me). Almost as if there were a long list of words, and no matter how well they actually fit together, Dave had to use every single one of them. And couldn’t go back and edit the finished product.

And it’s not that the lyrics need to be deep or even make sense. WWYS is pure nonsense, but the lyrics fit and flow and have a general feel of something that was carefully crafted.

Sounds a bit like a mix between Collective Soul's "Shine/World I Know" in the verse and Tom Petty's "Last Dance With Mary Jane"/Better than Ezra's "King of New Orleans" in the chorus

He sang it well, especially for a first performance, it's just a wall of sound that highlights Buddy's cheesiness

Is that Buddy on backup or Rashawn? I thought it was Rashawn on the video but it was choppy. Or were you talking about his woos? Lol bc woof

I actually liked the Buddy and Tim back and forth. His synth sounds worked on this one.

I just didn’t think Dave’s falsettos sounded good and were strained, but that’s kinda normal these days. No biggie
