Although I live in Brandon, Ms where they played last year, I am so excited they are playing in Pelham this year instead!

Assume it's probably not worth it to do WH for this show, correct me if I'm wrong but assume I should be just fine with public onsale. Might be able to do Citi presale though

Pumped they are coming back to Pelham. Definitely an underrated venue, especially since there is no pit.

I wouldn't do WH unless you have a lot of seniority. They don't have any GA at this venue. I'm just going for cheap seats at this one. Made the mistake of paying a premium for seats about middle in the venue last time and was not really happy with the bang for the buck. Plus I probably had the tallest 2 people in Alabama standing in front of me.

I was tempted to do premiums since there is no pit, but I would be really disappointed if I didn’t get decent seats. I got really good seats with the Citi presale in 2016. Now with TM platinum seats being so expensive I feel the chances of getting good ones is slim.

Section 101 Row J almost all the way on the outer isle. We still had a great view though.

Will be hitting this one for sure. Decided this over pensacola. This venue is much nicer and it outdoors. It’s also my favorite venue I have seen DMB at besides maybe Charlotte. It’s a pretty decent drive as well. It’s pretty quick, and it’s not a boring ride. So many hotel options right next to the venue and that makes it so convient. Love the whole vibe here and that’s why I choose this over Pensacola.

I’m actually really intregued by the Pensacola show. Its the tour opener and I have driven threw Pensacola many times and it seems like a cool town. OM got the edge just by a tad. Now I still may wind up hitting up Pensacola but only if I can find some tickets below face on the secondary market. I hoping the demand for that show is pretty low. Hopefully I can score some cheap ass tickets like some of the winter stops this year lol.

Anyway I’m really pumped for this one as always. Will probably book a holel pretty soon.

The only reason Pelham isn't 100% for me is because it's a Tuesday. I'm a teacher and we can't take time off in May due to test prep. I'd have to drive back after the show so I wouldn't get home till like 2:30 am. In 2016 we did it and got a flat tire on the AL/GA border at 1 am I was late to work the next day

Yeah that’s rough. Sucks you got a flat at 1:00 AM.

Back in 2017 the Tuscaloosa Dave and Tim show was the day before one of my exams. I just stayed in Tuscaloosa and left at like 5 AM. made the 3 hour trip home, and I was at school by 8:00 AM for my 10:00 AM exam. Something like that. Got to leave a little bit of room incase something happens.

Yeah, still in school so traveling is tough for me. Nice to have them back in my backyard again this year

Yeah especally in early May during exam time. I took this semester off from school and I’m just working, so the timeing of these shows isn’t an issue when it normally would be.

Yeah once I'm out of the hellhole of HS, it will be much easier to travel. Might try to hit ATL later in the summer. But, I'll be up north for college next year near NYC so that will be nice concert-wise

I remember HS in the south. May is a big month. State test are in early May then exams are in late May, but I was exempt usually. Senior year we didn’t have any state test, and we had something called senior project that you worked on all year and was due in late April. It was a huge project that took lots of time and effort. Anyway, you had to present it in late April, and if you were exempt from exams, that was it for school. So I was done by April 25. Felt good!

yeah NYC will be awesome. A whole lot more options for concerts.

That's really nice haha. Yeah I'll have AP exams in early May which exempt me from all the finals in late May so done right after like second week of May. I think I have an AP exam the day after this show but oh well. Study ahead of time lol

I managed to snag a pair in 103 through the Citi presale. It's on the far aisle so hopefully it won't be too bad.

I would rather be in the lowers and off to the side than anywhere in the 200s though. Every single time I have been to a show here and sat in the 200s the view has been absolutely awful. I'm not the tallest guy in the world (5'9") but I have never had a problem seeing over people at any other venue, but at Oak Mountain, it's a struggle for me to get a good view of the stage anywhere in the 200s. I've found you're honestly better off sitting in the 300s and being a little further away and being able to see everything than to try and sit in the 200s and stand on your tip-toes just to get a glimpse of the band over everyone in front of you. I realize experiences my vary, but just thought I would share.
