Re: Buffalo Wings

Just sat down at buffalo wild wings. Ordered 10.hot to start. I do like the free WiFi.

Good food or not, it's packed.

I watched the fight, a hockey game, online poker, and trivia.
You watched the guy on pump 3.

Side question: how do you even know what the heat lamp food tastes like? I seriously thought it was just for show.

Word, but I don't eat there anymore. The only reason I ever did was because the group of guys I worked with loved the place. I'd never leave the place spending less than $10... for fucking lunch. And that was over 5 years ago.

I think they are pretty new in my area. We have only had BWW for maybe 2 years.

that being said I work right next to one, so we past those receipts around like it is nobody business. Lunch cost me like 3 bucks, i am getting tired of it though. Still decent place for an after work beer though

I don't get BWW. $10 for at least 10 wings. Who the fuck pays $10.29 for 10 small wings? Oh, that's right, people here are justifying their shitty, small overpriced wings due to the atmosphere. I want great wings, not great atmosphere.

You are overthinking it. And, the wings we got were average or a little above size wise.

No, not over thinking it. When I go to a restaurant that specializes in wings, I expect good wings. I didn't go there to watch sports. I didn't go there to drink. I didn't go there to look at the waitresses. I went there to eat wings, cause that's what they are apparently known for. Maybe the one I've gone to, twice, is just an anomaly, but the wings were below average in size and were waaaaay overpriced. The sauces were decent, though. I can see why it's popular in the south because traditionally, good pizza, wings and hoagies are extremely hard to come by, but don't know how a place like this survives in the Northeast when you can literally go to almost any pizza joint and get bigger, better tasting and cheaper wings in just about any town.

So, stipulated. But I don't live in the NE or a college town, and it was not my choice, that is what you overlook.

    Re: Buffalo Wings

Agree BWW is way overpriced. The wings are really small. Their sauces are good though and the boneless "wings" are decent. I'll only order from there if it's Wing Tuesday (50 cent wings) or Boneless Thursday (60 cent boneless), otherwise it's a ripoff - many places to get much better wings for the same price or cheaper, especially considering I need to order at least 15-20 wings from BWW because they're so fucking tiny. So if I go on Tuesday, I can get 20 wings for $10 plus tax, which is a good deal.

Only concern with BBW is there inconsistency with their seasoning, sometimes the wings are drowning in a quicksand like desert heat, other times they are barely covered.

Only concern is going to BWW too often will make my kids overweight, other kids will make fun of them forcing school change, will have to solicit NFL star on social media to help, some dude on a message board will question my parenting abilities....

Oh, I see. You think my post was directed at you and the reasoning for why you enjoy their food. Nope, I was referring to the restaurant and my experiences at said restaurant.
