OSU is a lot better than what their record shows at the moment. I was impressed by them in their game against Florida, and now Florida’s win looks even better. Big game at Oklahoma tonight.

Purdue deserves to be #1 and it’s awesome that they look like they’ll finally get there next week. Good for them!

Duke made 3 FGs, yep 3, the final 17 min of that game . It may have been the worst half of Duke basketball I’ve ever watched. Pretty bizarre. It’s good that some of the younger guys got to experience that, but woooof they did not handle it well. Poise? None.

Can someone explain to me why Duke would need to schedule more “non-conference road games”. They play enough good road environments in the conference while annually playing multiple top 5-15 ranked teams on neutral courts, you know, like they would in March.

What does one more non-conference road game per year get them? Does that win at Elon or Coastal Carolina really boost UNC’s team building, resume, or overall season every year?

Yea they stopped running any semblance of an offense, didn’t switch to zone like they had in the first half to throw them off. No adjustments were made late when the guys seemed to be pretty spent physically. That’s when you need to revert to running a few set plays and not trying to run motion and go one on one.

Lots of reasons they allowed OSU back into the game and ultimately taking an L, but the lack of mid to late second half adjustments was definitely the number 1 reason.

First paragraph has been my gripe with K for a few years now. A lot of times feels like he threw in the towel a few seasons ago and is just going through the motions now.

well I certainly had this backwards. UNCA and Michigan aren't great offensively but the defense has been encouraging the last two games.

I mean, why not? It really can't do anything but help the end goal. The "they play in enough tough road environments" argument is equally as silly. Especially with how shit the ACC is this season.

I've never cared much either way since scheduling philosophies are very different and K has clearly had plenty of success, but it's not an absurd suggestion.
