Re: Official Alpharetta 2019!!!
For what is potentially the last show of my summer I couldn't be happier. I've been chasing Last Stop and Seek Up for a while, so to get those was amazing. I was with my brother and sister which made the experience incredible, and to top it off, they played LLD, Joy Ride, mid set Rapunzel, Write A Song (also never heard live), and Pig. I could always use more Crash or UTTAD tunes, but after six shows this year, I've heard as much of those albums as I'm ever going to get I think, outside of Proudest Monkey which I'm still chasing.
The year started weak with Charleston (set was great but sound was pretty off where I was) and Nashville. It ramped up when I did Bethel randomly which was awesome, and SPAC was a dream come true with JTR (still feel like I'm chasing it cause I had to walk into the lawn for it), #40 and Blue Water. Getting The Last Stop, Seek Up and Write a Song checked off really sealed the deal for me for the year. If I can score decent singles and a cheap flight, I might still do Fiddler's, but in all honesty I am completely content. Last year I went to the Atlanta show and it reignited a love for this band. Between that show and now I've seen 10 full band and my first D&T, and it feels nice to close the loop with one more ATL show... until instants drop for Denver lol.
Happy the band is a part of my life again and I'm happy with the (new) friends and family I got to share it with along the way.
