No contest for me, shame this wasn't 2016 and we had a higher quality version. Insane, Carter just wasn't ready to give in, and wanted to show every mother fucker in the house he was home and ready to slay.

I absolutely adore those '06 shows, was a really great time to be a fan and visit Charlottesville.

Given the tracks we've gotten, those shows should be ready for release at any time.

The energy and ad lib of the drum solo are regularly best ... Carter Beauford is a particularly fun drummer to watch since he's continuously grinning. Try not to despise any track, assuming I needed to pick a most loved three it would be Rooftop, The Riff, and Drunken Soldier. Simply love the examples and time changes. It distinctive feel and isn't so weighty as Groo Grux IMO, however, I like them both.

Was lucky to be in the audience for this one and I am so glad there is footage of this. It was insane and like nothing I've ever seen from another drummer. 2002 was a phenomenal year for Carter.

It's odd because it was a very standard Winter '02 set, one that isn't in my top 10 shows, but that LW performance was a Top 5 DMB moment in my 76 shows. Its very rare to be wow'ed and see a jaw dropping performance, but that one was.
