Come Tomorrow (Bonus Disc)

What do you think of the Come Tomorrow bonus disc? There's a lot of talk about the new album, the new vinyl releases, but not much talk about just the bonus disc.

3. #34 - 8.31.13 | George, WA
4. WHY I AM - 4.25.09 | Nashville, TN
5. MINARETS - 6.22.97 | Cincinnati, OH
6. LITTLE THING - 9.28.96 | Cleveland, OH
7. ALLIGATOR PIE - 2.3.18 | St. Paul, MN
8. #40 - 6.22.00 | Noblesville, IN (Warehouse Only)
9. RHYME & REASON - 7.2.04 | Saratoga Springs, NY (Warehouse Only)

It is one of the best in my opinion. Every song is great/great performance. Aligator Pie has some rough parts, but overal is a really cool version (first release with no Boyd) And I could de without another Why I Am, but this one is money

40, 34, Pie, Minarets and Beach Ball only ones I'd probably replay

So Right post-Butch is great to have. Love Beach Ball. Rhyme or Reason intro is interesting. First live release Ive seen of drunken soldier and I’m happy to have that.

Warehouse 10 Volume 2, 2013 had Blue Water > Drunken Soldier (6/26/13 Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, Wantagh, NY).

No one has mentioned this Little Thing. It is one of the best, if not THE best, version of the song. The lyrics are dark and awesome. Haha

I think it is between good and very good. The problem is I can't help but stare at it and wonder what could have been. Then I get mad at it and call it names.

One person did, we were discussing the download in a thread a couple weeks ago (maybe it was you on second thought?)

But I totally agree with that assessment. This Little Thing is great. The #34 is something speciall as well, really not a bad track on here. I’ve been asking for a 2012 Beach Ball for a while, so that’s nice, and I’m in the minority who actually love Drunken Soldier so getting our second release of that is great. Was getting sick of the Blue Water > Drunke Soldier

I really dug the song choices when it was announced and the performance really held it up by either having unique spin on them or just them nailing a performance. Hell, nobody is going to mention it, but even this Why I Am i really really good and that's usually Satellite-esque in terms of being the same thing every time.

Agreed. I’ve mentioned it, Stefan kills it and the mix is great

I think I posted about it in a different thread, but I’m glad you did this Chad. It’s a great little release imo.

Listen to that Drunken Soldier. If Dave hadn’t messed up the lyrics lol, it would probably be one of the best versions. Carter absolutely kills it, and the mix is great. I said this before as well, Alligator Pie has a real nice guitar intro. Not that it’s longer, just sounds really good. #34 is obviously a great addition. Even though it’s short and not the best version from the 2012 tour, Beach Ball is still a great version to be on here. I really like this bonus disc. I’m sure not everyone agrees, but still.

Was it worth the extra album purchase? I didn't buy a copy of the album other than with my tickets.

    Re: Come Tomorrow (Bonus Disc)

    1. SO RIGHT - 7.2.16 | Elkhorn, WI - pretty solid version. Jeff was great and Fonz seems turned up which is always awesome

    2. BEACH BALL - 7.20.12 | W. Palm Beach, FL - good version, but sucks they took the jam away never to be played again probably.

    3. #34 - 8.31.13 | George, WA - kind of sloppy and was actually worse than I thought it would be unfortunately. Cool to hear, but wasn’t great.

    4. WHY I AM - 4.25.09 | Nashville, TN - good as always

    5. MINARETS - 6.22.97 | Cincinnati, OH - fantastic and great to hear Roi

    6. LITTLE THING - 9.28.96 | Cleveland, OH - solid version

    7. ALLIGATOR PIE - 2.3.18 | St. Paul, MN - I get why it’s on here, but meh

    8. #40 - 6.22.00 | Noblesville, IN (Warehouse Only) - good choice. Nothing standout here, but definitely cool

    9. RHYME & REASON - 7.2.04 | Saratoga Springs, NY (Warehouse Only) - fantastic. Cool little improv before the song and great version

    10. DRUNKEN SOLDIER - 8.30.13 | George, WA (Warehouse Only) - cool. Music is great and it was a show closer so it’s cool they chose it to close the disc.

    7/10 I’d say

IMO with So Right you have a great example of when the bootleg sounds better than the released version (not the first time it's happened either)

Beach Ball, #34, Minarets and #40 get zeroes? Do we like the same band? I can only hope these are based on the versions and not the songs themselves.

How is the mix? Contemplating giving some guy on Ebay 25.00 just so I can get the Unknown Song intro > Rhyme and Reason. That's from my ALL TIME favorite show. It's probably going to be the only thing I can get from SPAC N1 of 2004 cause I dont see a release in foreseeable future. I couldn't afford to be in the WH at the time this was released. So I obviously didnt get it.

I think it's really good. It's not too loud and is a great headphone/car cd. I just paid $20 to get this on eBay last week.

This is seriously one of my favorite bonus discs. I grabbed the taper pulls from the 2013 Gorge shows and they sound pretty awesome. I was listening to N1 and was like "Hey I recognize that version of Drunken Soldier!" Listening to N2 at the moment and "34" just got done. I listen to this disc at least once a week.
