Just so fluid, funky, groovy. Everyone on stage kills it. Top 10 all time performance of any DMB song for me, honestly.

On another note, I broke my DMBLive cherry. Will be listening all day at work tomorrow.

Also, I downloaded to a Mac, and it had a DL manager. Worked no problem and imported direct to iTunes.

So why you still here if it brings out "hate'

This was my first show so I am extra pumped for this. This Crush really stands out for me for some reason as well. Great early(ish) version of this song. You can't go wrong with a IBYU/Warehouse encore either. Unexpected, even back then.

If they had the option to just download these straight on your phones, Live Trax included, I would waste a lot more of my money on these- I have Samsung too. I bought my first one a couple months ago, and tried downloading on my phone and then eventually the link just stopped working and was unable to download.

Luckily I called them and they reseeded it for me, so I was able to still get it. But I cant believe that in 2015/2016 they don't have that option to purchase with your phone and then download straight to your phone.

Use a good file management app. Android's default file management is a joke.

I wish they'd release these in bulk more then 1 or 2 at a time, or if they do one a month that would mean 12 a year. Still hoping 12-17-00 gets released at some point, first show I was at and top to bottom I loved it.

Aside from the more flat mix than we'd get with a multi-track, this show was a fantastic release and great to listen to. Definitely a show I'll listen to frequently.

More from the fall 98 tour would be awesome....I've been in love with that tour ever since it happened.

Maybe a crazy idea: How much would it cost to send the FLAC files to a mastering house to get the show mastered? Is it worth it to master a two-track recording?

Idk maybe if we got a pool going, if everyone pitches in like $5 we can get it mastered?

    Just a (perhaps crazy) thought...

Looking back at that tour now, I think he didn't overstep it because of Butch.

I would pay $5 NOT to send it for additional mastering. This is pretty close to a flat mix, but not fully...hence the clipping throughout. Not enough to really affect the overall sound...but you can bet your ass it would be if you sent it off to most mastering houses given there is already zero headroom.

Got it, thanks. So mastering would not improve the sound of the recording? Or does it depend on who is doing the mastering? Granted, I know next to nothing about mixing/mastering, but most commercial recordings are mastered, so I just assumed that a recording that is mixed but not mastered is somehow "incomplete." Thoughts?

You want to send a single track recording of a 2-track recording to a mastering studio so they can turn into a multi track?

So you want all your groceries in 1 bag & you don't want it heavy?

Again, I know next to nothing about mixing/mastering, so I don't know what mastering even entails. I'm just operating on the (apparently mistaken) assumption that since most commercial recordings are mixed AND mastered, a recording that is mixed but not mastered is somehow "incomplete".

So to the extent that that assumption is mistaken, I am simply asking someone to explain why -- keeping in mind that I know next to nothing about the recording/mixing/mastering process.

You can't made a multi anything out of a single something.

I'm not faulting you but it just can't happen

Got it, thanks. I didn't realize mastering involved making multi-tracks. I just figured mastering was more "putting the finishing touches" on a recording. I guess what I had in mind was more of what the Karmageddon (sp?) master of the Lillywhite Sessions did. I'm assuming he (or she?) had only a stereo FLAC file, and then did whatever he/she did to add touches here and there.
