Awesome work as always, boys! Your best of 2021/recap pod was a fantastic listen. Thank you for sharing your thought, passion, and love for the band! I agree that this was a really good tour - one of the best in recent memory (> than 18-19, above 2016 and probably the 2-set tours, too, of 2014-2015, imo).

Love your recaps and breakdown of specific shows, and I agree that Madman's Eyes was a great shock, with the middle-Eastern vibes as have been noted. Also agree that The Only Thing has a catchy chorus and has grown on me.

Quick question/idea for a future pod: maybe a 10-year anniversary of AFTW? Kind of a (now) unheralded album. It was the return of Lillywhite, the 2012 tour after the 2011 caravan tour/excitement of a new album, the reception the new songs got live (Sweet, Gaucho, Mercy), etc.? Also Dave's comments in recent years that production was off/mix he wishes were different (I'm paraphrasing). Just an idea, you guys obviously have no problem thinking of good content/jumping off points for discussion.

So currently listening to this newest podcast and I was surprised to hear that Bruce isn’t from NC afterall (like I had always thought), and I’m assuming from how he was speaking, currently lives in Jacksonville, FL?? I thought both of y’all lived in Charlotte & the “Research Triangle” respectively??

Nolan,

I first saw you on your podcast with Rodrigo last year. Fast forward to last night when I first followed Duke’s Twitter and saw you next to Coach K (one of my heros). I thought to myself, I’ve seen that guy before. Is that the DMB fan who’s got that podcast? Sure enough, I saw the Grey St. podcast on your Twitter. You have one of the coolest jobs I could imagine! I always wanted to go to Duke for college but ended up elsewhere. My wife and I did get to attend a game there years ago, driving hours with no tickets in hopes of scoring some game day extras, which we did. It was one of my best sports memories at one of the best sports venues in the country. I also saw them beat Gonzaga in Vegas last year.

Anyway, I want to post and say that I share the same passions for the band and Duke basketball. Enjoy any shows you’re planning on going to this summer and Let’s Go Duke!

Today I have listened to your last episode during a long driving.
I enjoyed it a lot and it was also so much fun. I was at SPAC and it was great to relive that weekend through your analysis. I also loved the TDC comments. But actually I like the current version of Two Step less than the older ones, and that the last three minutes could be different.

Nolan, I think I counted my first Halloween twice. Once for the tease at the top of the encore, and once as the encore closer. My sincerest apologies, I've only seen it 13 times.

I don’t believe that Bruce and Nolan have actually heard it.
But if I am wrong (and I could be), it would be tough for them to make any podcast episode and not being able to talk freely about that
