I have 4 WH Tix in section 102, and bought 2 instant WH Tix which ended up being in section 103. Any ideas of how to possibly swap for 6 together at the same level or better without losing a ton of cash?

Just throwing this out there - if anyone sees this days before the show and wants to unload tickets for cheap, I'm your man.

ISO Four (4) Good Lower Level, Floor, or Pit. Tall order but wanted to put it out there.

Thanks all - only two weeks!

What happened on TM? Monday there were HUNDREDS (more like 1,000+) of tix left for DC and today there only seems to be about 100...?!?
I'm not saying it isn't real, but it is interesting and intriguing. What would have gotten folks to buy tons of the nose bleeds in the last few days? I also don't mean to sound like I'm complaining...I prefer they play to a full house. More energy and inspiration.

Yeah thatís strange. Iím not even seeing any available tix now, so perhaps itís a temporary glitch. No way they sold all of those 400-level tickets.

I live in DC (but moved here last February). I know the area by Capitol One but are there any awesome spots to "tailgate" at a bar or something before the show? Any good recommendations?

Green Turtle is attached to the venue, huge bar (and a smaller one in the basement), okay food, and when doors open you can enter the venue through the restaurant. Penn Social is a hangout spot. Penn Commons is a bar for a drink, not necessarily a rowdy crowd atmosphere.

I might hit Jacks Rose to pregame, still undecided if I'm drinking or not.

really depends on what atmosphere you want. Cheap beer? Good food/need dinner? Best hh specials? Close to venue as possible? Happy to offer advice if you narrow it down a bit

    Anyone else doing back-to-back-to-back?

We know it won't happen, but we're hoping for almost no repeats between DC and the two nights in C-ville. Still feel like the band needs to make up for the merely decent set at VA Beach after the fiasco at Bristow (obviously not their fault). Knowing that those that got drenched and/or refused entry to Jiffy Lube are likely the core of the DC audience, I'd love for them to drop a killer set.

Either way, we'll enjoy the hell out of shows.

Wife and I are coming up from Alabama for back to back to back. Hoping for the same!

Yeah, we're NoVa too (Alexandria). Sadly stopped going to shows after starting our family and didn't see DMB from 2001 (at RFK) until 2015 at Bristow. Saw Dave and Friends in PA and a couple of D&T shows at DAR in DC in between and loved the non-SU albums.

Definitely easy and worth going to all the VA shows this year...except maybe for JLL. That was the worst outdoor weather experience of my life to date. Obviously there has been a ton worse weather in and around the area, the state, the region, etc., but I've been safely inside for all of the other stuff.

    Can't wait for Thursday.

Every song you hear in DC will be repeated in C-ville.

In no way does the band feel like it "has to make up" for the concert in VA Beach. What are you talking about.

The band is going to drop a killer setlist in DC. Now, if you're expecting "killer" to be 15 tour debuts of rarities, Batson Sessions on vinyl for all fans in attendance, and a 12 song encore with Carlos Santana, Bela Fleck and Prince guesting, then you'll be disappointed. If you're expecting "killer" to be a good mix of songs played on the fall tour, you're in luck.

It was a good show. A little shorter than most, due to a little bit of rain at the start, but a pretty sweet set and great performance.

I wouldn't call him a clown. I guess he wasn't happy with the concert in VA Beach, but that's not really a reason to ban someone. Everyone has different tastes.

But if you didn't like VA Beach, you're probably not going to be thrilled with the DC show this fall.
