Re: MTV Crashing the Quarter

this is so well filmed and performed. Although it won't happen this would be perfect to release. It is great vintage DMB.

Is this an aud or is it audio from the pro-shot video?

It's a bootleg I bought back in like 1996-97. It's soundboard. No idea of the actual source.

Interesting that the Two Step is on DMB's official YouTube and is now also available for sale on iTunes. Come on management make a great decision and release this whole show. Everybody would be satisfied.

    Re: MTV Crashing the Quarter

I didn't realize that Two Step video was on iTunes. I'll be buying that.

Also, DMB is on Amazon's MP3 download service as well. I HIGHLY recommend it over iTunes - no DRM, so you're not tied to iTunes or iPod.

For the record, I love my iPod. Hate iPod/iTunes DRM garbage.

    Amazon MP3 service = Awesome.

I hope they offer lossless files eventually though. I already own all of DMB's CD's, so it doesn't matter, but they need to offer lossless eventually.

So what are the other songs, and why are they lumped with the crashing the quarter stuff?

WWYS is a smaller file because I didn't have a solid quality video of it so I just ripped a youtube vid. The rest are videos that have been on my pc forever so the quality could vary from vid to vid.

Shit I just realized the Ants video I have is over the mediafire size limit. I'll try to compress it and get it into that folder.

This show, when it originally aired, helped me to become a fan. I had Crash and UTTAD but didn't listen to anything but the singles. When I saw this Say Goodbye on TV I was hooked. I would love for this to be released.

Thanks for posting this. It seems like forever since I last saw this show. I think I video taped it when it ran on MTV, but alas, no longer have a VCR hooked up. Good stuff! This was 6 months before my first DMB show....crazy to see how young they looked back then. I guess we all were though. ;-)

Thanks I don't know whats up with Interview 3. I'll just delete it and redo it.

I have Ants but it is too big to put on media fire so I'm not sure what to do about that

love the Say Bye and SMTS. To me this sound of the big 5 just doing what they do IS DMB. No Timmy, No Butch, just the sound that propelled them out of Virginia. I was at the Jazz Fest show the day before but couldn't make this one at State Palace Theater.
