This is about the same from me. This is unpopular, I know, but JTR falls way back in my preference over DMB catalog.
I’ve read somewhere that for JTR Dave was inspired by the traditional blues/gospel song “John the Revelator”, but, in my opinion, it doesn’t have the same strength and musicality.

Agree. I’m actually shocked to learn that there are people who have such negative views of the song. It’s a hella fun song to play, too. It’s got the classic Dave riff/guitar work that drew me into DMB in the first place.

It's one of the handful of DMB songs I can't play for whatever reason, woof!

Jimi Thing is their absolute best live song, in terms of variation they can put into it, and crowd-interaction. I've never seen this song get a lackluster reaction, or a bad performance of it.

No thank you. Us fans deserve the chance to hear the third verse throughout this tour (if the tour doesn't get canceled early). They can shelve it after '21. That's silly how people want things to stay rare. In fact, that's a big grievance shared by many here. People want their Spoon to be a one-of for a tour but many more want to hear it who couldn't make that show.

I get the notion of rare things being fun to track down or chase, but why make a song worse? We've waited long enough for the 3rd verse.
