Re: Michael Jackson Appreciation Thread

LeeAnne and I were just talking about this last night. Some guy on American Idol sang Michael Jackson--and he did it well--but he was nowhere close. With all his craziness, you kinda forget what an awesome voice he had.

There was a rumor a few months ago that Wynn offered Michael a ridiculous amount of money to have a nightly performance at his hotel. I wish Michael would just take that money. That show would be awesome.

I saw a MJ live in concert dvd recently. It was the best thing I've ever seen. The crowd is ridiculous, everyone's crying and fainting. It was hilarious, and not to mention, that man is a performer.

    Re: Michael Jackson Appreciation Thread

I love Michael Jackson. He is the King Of Pop. However, there is a reason for it. His songs don't point the finger at the real bad guys in this world, elite rich who run corporations. Not all wealthy people are evil, but some of them really are of course. In fact, Michael Jackson sings for them and lives their lifestyle. Sorry, but if it takes doing that shit to make the best art I'm just not interested. Elvis, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and others are the same way. Sucks that someone like me or Anton Newcombe make the best art, and then have to live a life of hearing everyone go on and on about people who make great art with someone else's help. I don't know. Michael Jackson is wonderful, but he never made art like me. He never said fuck the corporate reich. Give me a political song sung by The Minutemen every time.

I love the artists. Even the people who get special help from the establishment, I love. The artist is not the bad guy, he just loves the luxury lifestyle and ends up settling into a life that caters to the wealthy. It's unfortunate that everything counts. A lot of artists who portray themselves as absolute legends don't fool someone like me, a real artist.

It's funny that you will go on and on in praise of Michael Jackson, and then some of you will turn around and talk shit to me about my art. You'll say, well Michael Jackson has real talent! Right. Well, I make the best art and rock and roll ever. Really.

It just shows that people's beliefs about most artists and about anything really are a function of advertising. TV daddy told you Michael is the best. His daddy had him dancing as he was born. His daddy did it for a more sinister daddy who whored Michael Jackson, a person, like a Pepsi product.

It makes me fucking sick. Ya the pop art is wonderful. Michael Jackson's music seems to care about everyone. I don't know, does it really care or is just trying to sell you ideas that are gonna hurt you in the end?

Seeing him running around buying Peter Pan statues made me question what the fuck I was ever seeing. Fuck that. People are fucking starving. Heal the world, feed the world, call the bad guys on their shit. Do not fucking cater to them until your life turns into something that insulting to a real person.

Ya, see, they got you, man. They got you in their pocket with their money. Fucking moron.

Listen, my art is the best, motherfucker.

Giving money to charities does not impress me. Sorry.

Very wealthy people give a very small percentage of their wealth away so very low intelligence people like you will think they are really good guys. Wake up, motherfucker.

They are smiling at you because they know they are responsible for killing little 10 year old girls in the Middle East. Think about it.

Talk about Wintersox. Talk about The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Talk about Iggy Pop. Do not talk about their bullshit.

Why don't you go somewhere and learn something. You're not qualified to have a conversation with me.

I love Dangerous. I love some of the music, sure. But I see through the mask. I see that Michael Jackson is an angel of a person who for some reason believes it's in his best interest to be the happy entertainment face of war criminals. End of fucking story.
