We sat up there for Billy Joel (at old Shea) and it was fine for the price. I mean, when you only pay $50 you kind of know what you're getting, you know? There will be screens so you'll be able to see, and the sound won't be too bad. And unlike the Garden it's all open air, so you're less claustrophobic. The good thing I see about the DMB cheap seats is that they're dead center above home plate so you'll really get to see everything.

Sweet, thanks. I guess it depends on if I get pavillion or not for SPAC. It can't be worse than lawn, right?

Nope. And think of it this way: you'll actually have a SEAT. The only disadvantage is that you'll be up with the typical lawn crowd. When we went to Billy Joel there was this kid in our row who drunkenly projectile vomited on the people in the row in front of us BEFORE the show started. At BILLY JOEL. I don't expect those seats to be any better this time around.

yikes, and since you're in a seat, you can't really get away from it. Hmm, I may go with the $75.

Yeah, it was pretty terrible. You know things are bad when the pot smoke doesn't cover it up. I think we stood "up wind" the whole show.

I was at Fenway last summer (n2 only) on the field and we had seats. I will be attending both nights of Citi Field so I hope the GA pit won't be a bloodbath.

Sorry 2 change gears here but I picked up the zac brown bands new album the foundation and its got some good stuff in here I can't wait to c them @ citi field. I made a thread about it the other day listen to track #4 called a violin intro to free. A gruxy sounding southern bit that I think would b an un believable intro to bartender. I hope we get a sit in from de martini the violin player those nights that would make my weekend. Either way I'll b there and excited. Let's go Mets!!!

How popular does everyone think this show will be? I'm not a warehouse member but I'm really hoping to get field seats. Do you think I'll be able to get them the day of the public sale? I'm certainly hoping so because I don't want to pay 2x as much on stubhub. I know the band is really popular in NYC, like MSG sold out real quick last year but IZOD wasn't quite as quick. I guess we will see. Probly helps that citi holds twice as many people

if you are trying right when they go on sale i cant imagine you would have a problem. I remember when fenway public sale tickets went on sale last year and a good amount of us on here were able to get field seats. and i would think fenway is a more popular venue than citi field...

I'm hoping the scalping scene is a little more realistic this year. I'm planning on buying tickets for n1 on live nation cuz I'm figuring with all the other dates n1 isn't gonna sell fast so I could secure a good seat @ face value but I'm leaving n2 to stub hub cuz I'm looking to sit in a particular area and don't mind paying a couple of extra bucks to sit there, just not too much. But I'm figuring with the amount of seats available @ citi field and the economy these days the scalping prices might drop off a bit this year.

How good a show is Citi gonna get? obviously all speculation and Fenway/Busch have good shows.. just seeing if it's worth the money spent to go to Citi or not. Id guess we get a solid set, but what do you guys think? and shit, I cant be spending 75$ for 'decent' seats that sucks

The shows will probably end up being like Fenway ended up: solid, but "average" for the year. Although because it's NYC there's a greater possibility of guests I would imagine.

I've not been to Hartford (the venue, not the city) before, but I've heard LOTS of stories. I don't think it'd be my cup of tea.
