Hell yeah. Gimme that Joose. I’m heading down to Richmond for Dark Daze in November. Answer might be my favorite place on earth to get a few beers.

Any DC-area folks going to Snallygaster? A brewer at one of my local spots was talking about going down and I looked at the list. It's impressive.

Tree House finally got the ok to start pours on the Cape. That place will be zoo in the summer, but it may be worth checking out in the off-season.

Not a drinker anymore (15 months off the stuff), but really enjoying Athletic Brewing's NA options. It's been cool to see more craft breweries in my area start to carry an NA beer option as well-can only drink so much kombucha or housemade rootbeer.

Same here with Athletic. With their success I really hope to see more craft NA brews pop up.

are they 0.0 ones are the less than 0.5% ones? I'm a little over 3 years sober have been intrigued to try some of them, but have a mental block on it.

Been enjoying all the fun releases from Cape May Brewing this year. Tried their Ties the Room Together white cream stout. Super tasty.

They finally started canning Honey Porter, one of their originals, a month or so ago. Fantastic beer. Hard to find a bad beer from them. South Jersey's best brewery for sure.

They are ‘less than 0.5’. I feel ya on the mental block. Do what you’re comfortable with. I stopped drinking for health reasons a little more than 3 years ago and even when I got better, just didn’t see the need to get back into it. Hangovers fucking suck. I also only have 1 a night when I do decide to drink it. Their hop seltzers are really good too… but it’s pretty mild on the hop flavor

Did not hunt for BCBS but did have a 2020 variant (oatmeal stout with coffee and maple syrup) for dessert last night. Was good. But not quite as good as Bottle Logic’s Dark Rituals that I had earlier in the night. First Bottle Logic that I’ve had and it did not disappoint.

I didn’t hunt either, Wegmans always has plenty. They’ll probably have regular until next weekend to be honest. I was just out so I stopped.

Regular bcbs is literally available year round now lol. No reason to go out on Black Friday unless you want the rarer variants. Really would like to try the blantons but I wasn’t waking up at 5am for it.

I haven't had BCBS in years. I may have one old ass bottle somewhere, but I have no interest patronizing Goose Island the way they handle the "exclusivity" of that beer. There are better beers out there that are easier to get.

Was able to easily grab bottles of 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 BCBS regular and also picked up a bottle each of the 2014 Barleywine, 2020 Kentucky Fog, 2021 Classic Cola, Cherry Wood, and Fourteen variants. Can’t wait to see if any of the older bottles have aged well.

Really wish I could have picked up a Blanton’s bottle as they were distributed fairly widely I believe, but we were out of town and none of my local shops had that one for online ordering.

I don’t think we got any Double Barrel Toasted down here, but that’s the one it seems like has been receiving the best reviews. If anyone picked one up or comes across it, let us know how it is. Or just send me one lol

Toasted barrel had probably 3-4x the amount of bottles produced as blantons it seems.

Thought that kentucky fog was gross last year, have pretty much the same expectations for the cola.

Really?? Wow nowhere had Toasted down here, but places got Blanton’s just small amounts.

That’s hilarious because I absolutely LOVED the Fog last year. Didn’t drink it until June or July of this year and it was fantastic. Shared it with a couple buddies as part of a stout share and we opened that first and we all wanted more.

Have heard good things about the Cola, but I’m really uncertain how that one is gonna go. Is it going to remind me of Cola in the slightest bit or is it going to taste like a Lil Wayne sizzurp special…

I didn't like Kentucky Fog last year, but they absolutely nailed the flavor profile they were going for. Have heard positive things about Cola more than negative and will crack open one of the 2 bottles I have sometime this month, maybe at Christmas. I was able to score 2 of each variant without much hunting and that's all I need. Each year I get less and less interested in Bourbon County but still pick it up because I've been drinking this stuff since 2012.

Yea there was tons of toasted around town here, all places had multiple cases. Much less got blantons, and those that did only had a case.

Funny how they listed the toasted as the "rarest" of all the variants... and charged another $15 for it fuck In-bev.

Got 3 bottles of everything except blantons. hardest by far to come by.

fourteen isn't nearly as good as the original '14 prop.

Any PA folks order HF yesterday?

Do you all live at least somewhat close to Chicago? Surprised to hear how easily some of you got the variants.

Sometimes being down here sucks with beer distro. Can’t even get the good Funky Buddha variants up here in Jax anymore since they got bought out. They took away distribution of those and moved them to all on site releases. It sucks because they had several of my all timers.

Unless it’s changed, distribution is determined by how much product a store moves throughout the year. This was the process pre inbev, so it may be obsolete but wouldn’t be surprised if this was still in place.

Pittsburgh, this is by far the most stuff we have ever gotten.

Last year we only got Fog, Caramella and #4. We never get the rarer stuff whatsoever, they produced a lot more this year it seems.

So is that what the HF boxes usually look like? How much are taxes/shipping? Perhaps my opinion is skewed cause I can just go grab bottles at will, but no way I’d be paying $150+ for those 6 bottles.
