I think the kids were excited to do it and now that the backlash is coming up they are trying to be like "Of course we don't like him, and we got used, but it was a photo op, so why not do it?"

I doubt they were excited. It was probably more of "wtf. Sure....I guess" type of thing. It's just really weird and kinda creepy for a guy of goodells stature to go around asking for a photo.

Weird and creepy yes, but nothing Goodell does is that surprising. He came up in the league in the PR department. Everything he does has an eye towards PR, so of course he figures he can get a PR advantage by taking a pic with smiling Pats fans.

eh they probably were excited. It is a guy you've seen on tv a ton of times, he is rich, powerful at first you're probably thinking wow this is kind of cool/random so you take a picture.

I assumed the fact they have their arms around each other and big smiles on their face means it was staged, as in they posed for a picture. It is not like these kids were plants

Reportedly torn ACL. Crushing loss. It can be 'next man up' all they want, but damn, what a loss. JE11 is by far one of my favorite Patriots. TB12 loses his safety valve.
