We have an app that we run off one laptop connected to a big screen TV. You select from the laptop, your pick pops up on the screen, in between picks it's just a wide shot of the draft board so you can see your team and everyone's teams. I dunno, just beats any online draft I've ever done.

I'm not as high on them as most. I think they will be targeted a bunch but don't think they are going to perform up to those ADP's.

People have been really really high on Thomas this year. I like to draft more on consistency than upside. I'd obviously take AB, Julio, OBJ, Green, Jordy, Evans, and Hilton all before Thomas. Then, at least for me, it kind of becomes a mess/grey area. I've seen people take Thomas in the first round. I think that's too early.

Yes, Cooks is gone and Thomas had a nice year with Cooks last year, but we are working off one year. Regression happens (see Todd Gurley). I'm not wasting my first (or early second) round pick on, in my opinion, an unproven guy. I do, however, agree with the analysis that all signs point to a big year for him. I just don't like to take risks with my first couple of picks.

Snead, for me, is somewhere in the top 30 with top 20 upside. All depends on the risk you want to take. Statistically, I'm sure you can find 20 WRs with better numbers than him last year.

So, I have the 2nd pick in a 16-team, 1pt/ppr keeper league. Bell is being kept. Assuming DJ goes #1.. I guess I have to go with Antonio at #2, right? Any way I can take a Melvin Gordon or Jordan Howard instead? I feel like you need to draft an RB in that spot. WR is a lot deeper than RB and can pick up a much better WR in the end of the 2nd round than an RB.

Going WR-WR isn't really an option for me. I am keeping Brees as a 3rd round guy. Can't expect an RB1 in the 4th round.

I'd keep Kelce here. QB is deep, and you'd be keeping Kelce like 5 round ahead of his ADP.

5th pick in a 14 team PPR no keeper league

Unless Antonio Brown is there, I should be able to pick at least one out of McCoy, Freeman, Gordon, Howard or Murray? Thoughts?

Personally, I'd take Julio Jones or OBJ before all of them, but thats just my opinion.

    My order:

    DJ
    Bell
    Brown
    Julio
    OBJ

14 team though, I don't necessarily disagree with taking a RB before Brown, Julio or OBJ. WR is much deeper.

If I don't go RB in the first round, I probably have to spend the next 3 picks on RBs. 14 team leagues, RBs are so hard to find.

I'm in a similar league, also picking fifth. I'm going wide receiver in the first. I'm not married to zeroRB, but I usually prefer it. If you don't take an elite wideout at 5, you're looking at like Amari Cooper, Brandin Cooks, Terrell Pryor as your WR1 in the 2nd round. I prefer to load up on wideout and piece it together at RB. Ended up working last year as I found Ajayi on the waivers around week 3.

Jamaal Williams, GB. (Last round lotto ticket pick) Partially hedging against Montgomery because he's non-traditional and hasn't done it for a season. And Williams is a bruising, north south type runner. Does anyone actually think Montgomery is a 17-22 carries type? I don't.

Wendell Smallwood- currently owned in less than 10% of leagues and may well be starter for the Eagles.

I really like Mark Ingram at current ADP. Peterson is basically being drafted ahead of him...

Same with Matt Forte, again, going off current ADP. I know it's the Jets, and he's not gonna win your season, but he did finish with 1,000 total yards and 8 TDs last year. That's a useful bench option as an RB4.

Exactly. The high injury rate of RBs make the "I need to draft great rbs early!!!" kind of moot imo. There'll be plenty available during the season. See who's making waves now and get ready to pounce.

I went zeroRB in a mock from the 5 pick out of 14 last night. Ended up with this team:

    Qb- Matt Ryan
WR- Odell, Cooks, Davante Adams, Crabtree, Funchess
RB- Woodhead, McFadden, Jeremy Hill, Jacquizz, James White, Jamaal Williams
    TE- Delanie Walker

McFadden is an auto start for the first six weeks and buys me time to find a hopeful every week starter. I can live with this squad.

    14 team / PPR / No Keepers - QB, RB x2, WR x2, TE, Flex, DST, K

Being in Houston, had some connectivity issues, so Wallace / Rawls / Coleman were autodrafted

    QB: Carr, Manning
RB: Foreman, Zeke, Crowell, Rawls, Jamaal Williams, Joe Williams
WR: Landry, Snead, Diggs, M Wallace, Coleman
    TE: Rudolph
    D: Jax
    K: Walsh

Strategy is to wait for some RBs to get hurt, and then try to trade for a WR1 since my WRs are a big weakness.
