Those days are over. Where were you planning on picking up '18 Hollywood Bowl? Walmart? I suppose it could be put up on Apple Music and Spotify. Here on out CDs have become a very niche market.

They didn't print very many on CD. I was fortunate enough I made the inquiry in time to buy from their emergency stock (for orders with CD issues). But judging from the reaction '18 Hollywood Bowl gets around here, maybe they made the right decision. Or people haven't listened to the actual show and think all '18 and '19 shows are bad. I personally love it.

Is/was there a digital option for it? I have no use for physical media so I don't pay attention to releases that don't have one until I can acquire it later.

Live trax/live at are available on CD.
The only 2018 show available physically on CD is LT46 (7/7/18 in Indy) I’ll only consider getting Hollywood bowl when it’s not expensive the way vinyl is.

Agreed. I have no use for vinyl. Expensive and inconvenient way to listen to music. Do you only use CD's? There are tons of digital files for 2018/19 to listen to.

For physical I do CD, LP & tape. I say no vinyl to the bowl because it is as expensive as it is. I was able to pick up Live at red rocks 8.15.95, Listener Supported, Live at Folsom field and the Central Park concert in shops.
The digital files you’re talking about are not official releases.

Define official release. Many are from Drive In or Sirius. They weren't for sale but they are official released by the band for fan consumption. Plus the Cville WH release

No digital option you can buy directly. However, the vinyl set comes with a download code to redeem a MP3 download of it.
