Re: The Ship

Part of someone's out of office reply literally just read, "Nope, not checking email.....you cannot make me."

Fucking ballsy

Crushed a sale today - completing my onboarding so I am good to go.

Got a client playing hardball with me about our text marketing packages. Basically asking for the VIP Treatment for the cost of a regular package. If it were entirely up to me, I'd give her the discount but shit like that require approval.

Depends on your job. Former coworker used to come up with a new one every time he was out, I used to email him when he was out just to see what they said. Best one I thought was: "out today getting hair transplanted from my butt to my head." Most people never read them (which was his point), but the ones who did loved it and it helped him form excellent relationships.

espcially when you know they won't approve it. I got to figure out a way to secure minimum sale and then worry about getting her to upgrade to the package she wants at the price we want. Tomorrow will be a tough conversation.

I just got a new manager, he's eager to approve almost everything right now. Have to take advantage so I can hit my goal early for the year.

My email signature and out of office messages are professional but I do have fun with my Lync statues. Most of the time they're silly and nonsensical.

This Colbert dude is not funny. This is the first time I watched him. Letterman was better IMO.

Colbert is great. I can see a Trump voting clown not liking him, though. Letterman is still the greatest.

Idk man the political motivation doesn't bother me. It's just not funny to me. I just enjoyed letterman a lot more
