YES. A really beautiful song, and one that signals a return back to the good old days! And Lillywhite said on Twitter that it's full band on the album AND longer. And the album is at least 11 songs! God I'm so freaking excited

Airfare is a strange game. I live literally minutes from TF Green and the flights I was finding there were loaded with connections and inconvenient times (for us, anyway), for higher pricing than what I found at Logan.

We are leaving on Wednesday and flying home on Monday.
My daughter's first day of classes is Tuesday or we'd be staying longer.

Too bad we weren't flying on the same days--it would be fun to fly with other Gorg-ers!
similar situation here - we live 20 minutes from Bradley International, but the flights were more expensive and/or loaded with probably the same connections/inconvenient times. easier just to make an early 2hr drive to Logan (we park for free at a friend's house). glad to see other east-coasters making a similar trip. are you camping?

Oh, nice to park at at friends house. It's the good ole MBTA for us, lol!

I went ahead and reserved an RV--yes we are camping.

It would be fun to do something so the New Englanders/East Coasters will recognize each other so that we can be sure to say hello to our neighbors

The best way to avoid a hangover is to stay drunk.
Based on the posts here I would say we are all still recovering from last year Gorge. Withdrawal is a hard symptom to cure.

Stay downtown for the night, and go to Pike Place. Maybe go to the Experience Music Project and the top of the Space Needle too, if you have enough time! If it's nice, make the trek to Alki. It's a great beach area with an amazing view of the Seattle skyline!

That would depend on what you want to do with your little time in Seattle. Mariners are out of town until Friday night (8/31).

Trust me, if it's a nice day, you will definitely want to find your way to Alki!

Most of us stay out by the Airport, at the Red Roof Inn to be exact. The downtown hotels are more expensive. If you're renting a car, it is a quick 20 minute drive into town. Parking isn't too bad, and if you can find a central parking location, you can walk to many of the major sights.

This is exactly why I'm heading to the Toronto show. Toronto, Starlake and then Gorge. Spreads my fix out over as much of the summer as possible.

I knew those mice would finally be useful for something.

And yes, I've seen you drink... I can't imagine the damage you would do if you had a spare.
