There's next to zero chance this is the case. They'll never pass up a chance to make money. Remember they're selling firedancer face masks.

Listener Supported should've been out last BFRSD. I'm no longer going to get annoyed when they don't align releases with their anniversary dates/years. Maybe bands do it, DMB's management just drops the ball. Just give us a well made product and a good show (not Hollywood Bowl '18).

I could be wrong, but doesn’t PBS have the rights for that concert? I think PBS released their own CD and DVD, not DMB’s management.

I honestly have no idea. I'd imagine there shouldn't be that many moving parts for a vinyl release that was already released on CD, DVD and streaming apps.

I think they sort of gave up on those after LT 5 didn't sell well. You can still find new copies at local record shops.

I feel like they abandoned the anniversary thing with RR95 and Luther. They just seem to be going in order of release at this point. Still, nothing since Luther.

Oh yeah? I suppose that makes a bit of sense. Oh well... I guess next in line would be Chicago? As great as LS would be, I won't complain about Chicago.

They've released a lot of their official back catalog. Not sure why they would abandon that now. I guess we'll see.

I hope not! It just seems that since the last one they have started concentrating more on their more commercial catalog. But I would definitely like to see more LT on vinyl.

My theory is that they backed themselves into a corner and stopped when they realized that LT6 would be an 8+ LP set.

Perhaps. I wouldn't expect them to continue in order if/when the LT series gets another vinyl release

Bruce W you just made my day. Thank you for bringing this news into my life today, I can't even begin to tell you how excited I would be for more LT on vinyl. The list of previous live trax that I would instantly buy on vinyl is crazy long, but at the top of my list is probably LT 7 & 8.

I'm still hunting down 1, 2, and 4. Recently just purchased RSD5 and was floored by it. Sound quality was amazing. 3 is currently in the mail too, and have been checking my tracking number an ungodly amount of times since I purchased it.

I hope not. LT 6 isn't really worthy of a vinyl release. Not that the shows were bad. But the release wasn't all that good, IMHO.

Just curious, did you buy LT. 3 from someone from NY on ebay? I bought LT. 4 from a seller that was getting rid of his entire DMB vinyl collection....and it has yet to arrive. Should have been here 2 weeks ago.

I believe my seller was from Arizona. Mine is taking a long time as well. Should have been here on Monday. I think USPS is taking longer than normal with the whole COVID stuff

A best of Live Trax vinyl series!?!

That is what they should have been doing all along! Just take the best of the best shows and put them on vinyl once or twice a year. LT47 with Bela, Dave & Tim LT23, LT30 would've been a great companion piece with a RTT 25th anniversary, etc.

LT39 if they ever re-release BTCS! never gonna happen!

3 is the best in the series on vinyl, IMO.

Mine is on the way, also. I way overspent. But that was probably the single greatest show I've ever attended. So worth it.

They would have the same issue with Live Trax 9. I wish they would release Fenway N2 from 2006 and then move on to 7 & 8.

Count me as another vote for LT3 as the best in the series. It was already my favorite LT, and it smokes on vinyl.

With the release of video for 5/30/06 next week, they should kick off their "Live Trax Select" vinyl series with LT25 on vinyl and DVD/Blu-ray!
