I love how she starts off in first hand position doing some Boyd stuff for four measures, then heads off into uncharted territory as far as DMB violinist go.

Realistically, how many years of touring does DMB have left? Would Ann Marie trade the career she has now for the tail end of DMB's life? I don't think she would.

Considering that most bands just don't stop these days, even if the lead singer dies, I would say 20 or 30 years? We could have an iteration of Stefan, Buddy, RR and Jeff Coffin, Ann Marie with a new singer and drummer. It would still be called DMB, but not Dave Matthews Band. They'd lean heavy towards some of these 70's covers they do, and then a few jammy interpolations of Crash, Ants, Everyday, What Would You Say.

Wow. Yep. This needs an official video release. Please let this be 2 night Live Trax with a Blu Ray compilation of both nights.

Yeah, I don't get that at all. Maybe during the summer 2018 tour to show our support, but thereafter...annoying and ridiculous.

Watch the clips of her w/ her brother and Widespread Panic, in which she improvises. This is some of the music about she's most passionate.

    sign her up!

i think the hollywood bowl was a tryout. too many songs aren't the same without the violin on them....that was dmb's signature sound sax and violin at the same time.

it doesn't need to be a boy's club....make her a member of the band!

Sign her the hell up. I don't know why they didn't have her out on Nancies earlier in the show but that Billies was incredible.

Not even that does she want to trade her current balance of motherhood and career to play 40+ shows a year with DMB.

Another good point. I don't know how Dave did it with his twins. I know, he could easily made arrangements with the money he had. But everyone would've understood if he took a year off.

With Nancies, it depends. Sometimes Tim's solos don't really hit the mark. But sometimes they're brilliant.

I'm certain the pay day for 40 nights spread over the course of 3.5 months in the summer with several breaks within would be well worth it.

    Sign her the fuck up!

If she can't, someone of her caliber can. Enough is enough, bring back the fiddle.
