I'm assuming it's an open air stage, no way they play in pouring rain. Could be a shitty weekend, fingers crossed

Scheduling a music festival on a beach during hurricane season may have been a mistake...

Any locals have suggestions on how to get to the boardwalk? I've spent many week long vacations in OC and looking forward to the show. I know how bad traffic can be during peak season and just trying to figure out what to do. Currently have a hotel in Rehoboth for Friday night and thinking about driving down and parking at the Convention Center and taking the bus over. I just need to work in a late lunch or early dinner at Seacrets as well.

If you are used to peak traffic, this will be nothing

Sound on Sound is seemingly a disaster. D&T cut short due to lightning. This is obviously another first time festival. Hurricane inbound. Yeesh

Still got 3 3-day wristbands...looking like COVID is what's going to stop us, my wife & son are positive...seems inevitable that I'll be positive eventually and too close to the show to go.

$555 is face for the passes ($185 each). If anyone is interested and will pay for shipping, I'd be glad to send them out to you...or work the arrangement with the folks at OC Fest to get you bands.

I'm hoping this one is better suited since it's the same promoter that does Sea.Hear.Now

That's good to know. Also, Friday for D&T is fortunately starting to look windy but salvageable. Sky may not be falling after all.

Yeah, I'm hoping we're good for Friday. Saturday and Sunday are looking increasingly bad. Just hoping that the track of the storm pushes most of the wind away so the bands can at least play in the rain on Sat/Sun. It's going to be a downpour both days, and OC locals are saying that the inlet and that part of the beach is very flood prone.

Many people trying to sell their passes at this point are likely going to be bagholding unfortunately.

I was happy about this change! A saw a lot of people upset about Toad/Dirty Heads conflict now, but I'd rather see Grouplove than Dirty Heads. Works out well for me.

COVID sucks, the conflict between Toad & Grouplove was my biggest issue. There's no way we're going now though, I woke up with a 104 fever. Based on my son, I won't be symptom free by Friday. Cancelled our hotel this morning, super bummed after watching D&T at Farm Aid, they sounded awesome.

How many acts on the bill have played with Dave or DMB in the past (not including festivals)?

Big Head Todd and the Monsters in the early days, for sure as they have opened for DMB in the 90s.

I think the Lumineers have opened.

    Alanis I think.
