Look like they left the last "Y" off of Rye Whiskey.

It has the Bama Rags logo on it, so it is legit. But it’s some other company releasing it, looks like it’s just Europe for now.

I'm a DMB vinyl nut but this reminds me just how brutal that set is...8 BW songs (9 if you include Cornbread)... that's rough for a near $80 price tag.

Well, not necessarily. There's bootlegs out there with label logos on them.

I still don't know what to make of this, but I probably won't be getting it. I have every piece of DMB vinyl and all variants, but I can't reasonably fork over $80 for this to sit permanently on the shelf. I'd never play this thing. That set is really rough.

This is exactly where I'm at. This is the one DMB release I've listened to only once. It's just not very good. I don't even want to give it that one listen after opening it just to make sure it doesn't skip or having pressing issues.

If I buy it, it probably isn't coming out of the shrink. It'll be a large sized trinket and nothing more.

Which, at this point, I don't really know if I'm up for that. I'm already out of space in my record shelves and running out of overflow bins.

I've even given thought to selling my black copies of all the box sets.

I’ve wondered where I will draw the line with DMB vinyl releases, and I think this it. That being said, if it were available in the US for ~$35, I’d probably grab it.

BT - if you decide to sell your black LT1, I’m sure you’ll have no shortage of potential buyers. But just throwing it out there that I am ISO.

I'll keep you in mind for sure. If I do decide to sell it, I'd be as fair as I could be on pricing; I see no need to scalp my fellow fans.

It's just getting tough to justify some of this collecting. I don't want 3 copies of Come Tomorrow - Hell, I don't think I really even wanted 1. Iffy mastering, and shitty pressing quality; it's not something I plan to spin much.

This Europe release falls into a similar camp; bad track list that I'd maybe spin 1 side of (Dreaming Tree)

Awesome - thanks a lot for keeping me in mind.

And yeah, I’d honestly only get it with a view to completing my collection some day. Everything I could my hands on up to this point has kind of been a no-brainer for me, but it’s releases like this that give me pause - especially if they are going to continue to pump out multiple vinyl releases a year. I’m totally on board with them doing that (if done properly). I’ll just need to draw the line somewhere. Most likely a complete set of studio albums + selected live releases.

I believe the release is certainly legit, all of the fine print on the back of the album checks out if you look everything up. I have a handful of professionally produced bootlegs from Europe and none of them go so far to act like they are affiliated with the actual band or their record company in any capacity.

I think it's a Europe exclusive release because honestly, no one in America would want this...and at least the DMB fans across the pond can jump on this release because it's from their neck of the woods.

Plus, they’re apparently about to announce a Euro tour

He's just working his hustle of trying to sell more albums overseas.

I ordered this, too. If it's not released for another month and it takes another month+ to ship from Germany, I suspect it'll be after New Years that I (hopefully) receive it.

Management might not have wanted us to know about this just yet. I wonder how well this will go over with them now that people are ordering an unannounced product.

I expect this has very little to do with management and perhaps won't even be announced on the official site. They never mentioned a peep about Euro Trax did they?

This is up at some other very official sites like imusic.dk so it's legit and an EU-release. Will be interested to hear who mastered it and cut it once someone snags it, but no matter who it is I don't have an interest in acquiring a copy.
