probably the most ideal list if they didn't add anymore new songs. But I also like A Dream So Real as well maybe add a few new instruments to give it a little more life. But as a whole, I hate myself for not really having high expectations for this new album. And I feel like a lot of the fans are in the same opinion as me, hopeful but realistic as well.

I don't think it'd be "the" death blow, they've been dwindling in the studio for a while (I would say since 98). And it wouldn't make a difference to their live shows.

This is how I would throw it together. Two sides. Change the order how you would like. I saw a post where someone mentioned "Ghosts in the Attic" would make a great album title for all of the unreleased ones. I like just putting them all together like this:

A couple of thoughts:

Honestly, Busted Stuff might rank higher if it weren't for the flat, uninspired production. It's a great collection of tunes though.

About LP9: I honestly have my doubts regarding any '04-'06 unreleased tunes showing up on this record. I'd love to see them show up, but I just can't help but feel that it's not in the cards. I get the feeling that the band takes pleasure in writing new material, and finds it more appealing than using old songs from their catalog on a new record. But what do I know, really?

Also, I personally like these new songs myself. Not more than the '04-'06 tunes in question, but I think some of the new stuff takes more heat than is deserved.

As long as Be Yourself and Plastic Girl don't rear their ugly heads, I think LP9 will be just fine.

Actually wait, we already have a studio Joyride, we don't need to see if the band could improve it, it could come out even worse. Throw Break For It in its spot instead.

I agree with this post. Surely those three (awful) tracks would not make it.

I think there is a reason Plastic Girl was only played a few times and we saw so many performances of some of the others.
