Completely remodeled and revamped the inside. It's a really great venue for concerts now, saw Phish and Mumford there last summer. Great sound, great atmosphere. I say they either start playing Forum or, if they can sell the tickets, the StubHub Center.

Not to mention the worst seat in the Forum is only at the back of the Loge at Irvine....and the Forum lot scene is actually solid...and the sound is better...

...in short, good riddance to Irvine. Bring on the Forum.

yea for sure.... Irvine is awesome bc I live 7mi from the venue, but the lot scene sucks and the venue itself is brutal

hopefully next time(whenever/if ever that is) will be at the Forum

I love Irvine. The acoustics are good and a chill venue. Plus I can get home in 20 mins. Why anyone would want to drive to LA is beyond me. LA traffic worst in the US.
Sad no more concerts of any kind at Irvine IMO.

I went to my first concert at Irvine Meadows 20 years ago. It's not the greatest venue ever. But I will miss it when it's gone.

I know it involves a drive but I'd love to see DMB play the Santa Barbara Bowl. Smaller venue, but super cool.

actually, i just found on WH's website that $85 Reserved is for Sec 1-3, and $75 Reserved is for Sec 4-14.

so if you were confirmed for $85 Reserved tickets here, it appears you'll be sitting in the Orchestra sections.

Congrats on Orch for this show. So close to the stage. That is sweet that the WH didn't include the middle sections of the Loge in the $85 range. The could have easily include Loge 5, 6, 7 in that price range and there wouldn't be too much fuss.

I have not been to a show at Irvine since 2011, so can't really speak about prices or setup of seats the past few years. Plus my last show there I was in Loge 8 towards the outside of section so the view was not great. Plus it like the one of the longest walks from the lot to your seat as well. Anything house left you are screwed when the show is over. I used to just camp out in my seats for as long as we could to let the crowd disperse because it wouldn't get any better if you tried to fight your way through it.

Yeah, the parking situation at Irvine is rough. Here's how to do it right:

    1. Get there right when the lot opens. Usually by 3 or 4. Come in off 405 and Irvine Center. Whatever you do, don't try to come in off the Bake Pkwy. exit. Ignore the signs. It's a trap. Especially if you're arriving right around showtime. You will miss the beginning of the show. You will be pissed. There will be no recourse.

    2. As soon as you can once you get into the main lot, take a hard left and book it back towards the corner of the lot closest to the far exit onto Irvine Center (trust me, you'll thank me later).

    3. Make sure you bring lawn chairs, shade, and solo cups for your booze. Irvine police patrol the lot but they won't fuck with you if you aren't acting like an asshole and if you have your drinks in cups with bottles and cans not visible. You'll want to drink up because inside they'll be selling beer for $16 a pop.

    4. The people who park in this area are usually the ones who know what's up and you'll meet good folks.

    5. Suck it up and know you'll have a long walk to your seats. Especially if you're in the lawn. Wear comfortable shoes for the hike. Ladies, skip the heels.

    6. Enjoy the show. Afterward, make your way back to your car that you've wisely left right by the exit. Last year, I got out in less than 5 minutes. Don't follow my advice and you may wind up stuck there for an hour or two.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but despite what WH says, I'm pretty sure they don't control how each venue decides the boundary of each ticket price.

I know that Irvine Meadows absolutely extends their top ticket price into the Loge section, and it's kind of like a curve shape, with the price going to higher rows in the middle sections.

I'm always confirmed with the top ticket price, and have NEVER got Orchestra seats. Best were in one of the low rows in Sections 4 & 5.

I would guess that WH is just simplifying it by saying 1-3 are the $85 tickets, but in reality, at least half of the Loge level is also at that price.

If you look at any show onsale at Irvine, you will see that's the case, where many Loge have same price as Orchestra/Pit.

The artist booking a venue definitely decides what the prices for tickets are, whether or not the WH has the right information is a different issue...

...but, anyway, last year was the first year they split the price levels in reserved seating (used to be pit tickets had the same price as terrace). And last year I did have the $75 (price level 2) seats and ended up Loge 6, Row M.

Are you saying you had Loge 6, row E (or whatever) last year and they were price level 1?

I'm not saying you are wrong but I'm saying, based on last year, price level 1 doesn't stretch deep into the Loges (and, yes, I have seen concerts where, theoretically row E is $85 and row M is $75).

I might be wrong, I don't recall what ticket price I had last year, but they were the worst Loge seats I've ever gotten from Warehouse for Irvine.

I hope that it is correct that the $85 tickets are Orchestra, since that is the price level I was given, and I have yet to get better than Loge after many years of WH Irvine tickets.

$85 tickets for Irvine are either (Pit, Orchestra or Loge) according to the seating chart on the Warehouse site.

So we are all clear, the WH website says Orchestra / Pit are $85 while Loge / Terrace are $75...

...the colors on the seating chart suggest consistency between Orchestra and Loge but that would be reading into things. (Again, could be possible the WH messed up with that pricing chart).

Last yr $85 was Orch ( lowers) and loge was $75 (uppers)..but this yr $85 is both for lowers. The WH basically messed up.. The wording says one thing and the color chart says another.

Not to harp on a point but the seating chart is just colors with no corresponding text, the grid next to it spells out prices (Loge are all $75).

I'm not saying there aren't $85 seats in Loge, it just doesn't seem like an obvious conclusion to reach.

Did anyone see anything in the citi pre-sale on this topic?
