Does it make any difference when they're picking from a specific set of 60 songs?

11 of which are all of Big Whiskey.

All true...and yet not responsive to the point made. The caravans were not the first 3 day weekend of no repeats. Edit: Wait...what? You're saying Dave tripped ass-backward into a three days at the gorge with no repeats???

That was an average 2004 show, at freaking Hershey park no less (a place I would never go to see DMB again), and look at how many rare/fan fav/classically great DMB tunes they played, only a few short years ago (when we all bitched then too).
they also have two more albums since then, they also lost a core member of the band, replaced said member, added two more touring members, it isn't the same band, if you're not over it by now, you never will be. I have no problem with people complaining about sets, but to say they aren't even trying anymore, is ridiculous.

Looking back at 2010 setlists, I can't believe what a summer it was. Gorge opened with Last Stop N1, followed by Dreaming Tree. A couple songs later, Busted Stuff. N3 opened with Minarets.. Also the SPAC and Alpine setlists looked insane. What a year.

If only we could have an ounce of 2010 in 2019.

Gorge 2010 was so damn good. Prior to N1 my wife and I were chatting with a younger guy next to us on the lawn. All he wanted to hear that weekend was Last Stop, everything was just icing on the cake if he could hear Last Stop. Band hits the stage and boom, they blast into Last Stop to open. Dude came unglued! He was so damn happy, and by the end of the song he was passed out asleep on the grass next to us and didn't wake up until the encore break. . We kept checking on him every 2-3 songs to make sure he was breathing.

Probably my favorite show I've ever seen. I've seen better setlists, but all the surprises made the show so memorable.

7/4/10 at Alpine was phenomenal. Great set, great crowd and the band was great as well. Under-appreciated Show.

The sound was not great then. Boyd was really starting to fall apart, Jeff still hadn't found his sound with the band yet, Tim was really loud, and Dave's guitar was turned down.

It's a shame because the setlist variety was great.

People were losing their minds in 2010 (entire month of June) until Camden n2 - https://www.antsmarching.org/tour/Vi...hp?ShowID=4169

I was fortunate to be there and one of the best weeknight shows I've seen from DMB

This might be better as its own thread, but what do we think are the best shows of this decade?

Just looking at the shows I've personally seen I'd give a vote to 9/17/11. I haven't heard any tapes but from what I remember they sounded good that night and you and me was the only real dud in the set.

My favorite show is 7/24/13. Despite a shortened set due to rain.
