Re: Matt Nathonson is cool as f##k, and he know whats up
as for tonights show, here is my review:
so we get to Brockport about 10 minutes before the doors open. theres 2 entrances, one for buying tickets, one for those who already have them. it didnt matter to us, we just walked into the first one we saw. so the 3 of us (me and my roommates) are the only ones in this line. at 7:30 they let us in, and we're the first people into the ballroom where the show was. one of the die-hard groupies (dressed as Matt) was like the second person to come in, and told us that she'd been there for 4 hours. i laughed. she wasnt amused.
that show was awesome. especially standing front row center. he did a short cover of anna begins, ants marching, and crash, as well as some other songs. this is the first time ive seen him with his band, and it sounds really good. a lot more energy than with just Matt Fish on the cello. they also tossed a lot of candy into the crowd.
this guy is awesome, got his autograph and a picture again. its nice to finally see a show where he's headlining, as opposed to opening. a much better crowd.
there were 2 tapers. one of them said he'd put it on the archive. he better.
