Re: ** Official Nashville 2019 **

How hard of a ticket will this show be? I fear that outside of SPAC, Alpine, Gorge, that it might be one of the higher in demand shows. I'm 3/99 WH member and have seen seat options drop and a even some shows where I got shut out. Hoping the WH comes thru this time.

I don't think it sells out instantly, so you should have some time.

If they sell this show out or come super close, they should include Nashville on all of their future summer tours. It's a shame it has been a decade since Vanderbilt. Nashville's current problem is that it needs to construct another 20k amphitheater again like it had in Antioch.

I agree that it won't sell out immediately. The 300 level seats in the back aren't the best in the world. But I'm guessing eventually it will sell out, especially if social media and message boards are any indication. On the social media for the Tennessean newspaper and local TV stations, the posts about DMB coming all got lots of likes and comments about wanting to go. I know wanting and doing are two different things, but since it has been 10 years, and so many people want to come here and visit, eventually it will sell out.

Yeah it'll sell out but I don't think it will the day tickets drop. It'll probably sell out a few weeks before the show. It's really strange considering how big a music market Nashville has become and DMB hasn't come in 10 years. Hopefully. it'll become a more regular stop.

Do you think there's a benefit to making reserved seating your first choice compared to GA Floor?

The WH is a tricky mistress--I've never been clear about how the selection process works.

I think GA floor will be hard to get. I don't really want GA floor, but I put it as my first pick knowing I won't get it so that maybe I'll be considered for lower level seating.

For locals or people that have done it, how much should an Uber/cab to and from downtown from the airport hotels? I agree $400 a night is insane. Especially if you are barely in room. Is there any public trans from the area?

Uber.com quotes $11.45 from the Hilton Airport to Bridgestone--so I would say between $12 and $20 each way, likely way higher right when the show exits, but who's going straight home, you're in Nashville!

Just put in my request. Preferred floor standing. But I will take what I can get. This is my first time using the Warehouse ticketing - about what do we think confirmations will start coming in?

Can't believe they're finally playing in Nashville. Been waiting for this since I became a fan in 2011!

Gotcha, and when in the process will we actually be charged if we are confirmed? I didn't see that anywhere on the Warehouse site.

Temp charge process will start when request period ends 2/5, so credit card hard charges should start when confirmations post (temp charges, debit charges could happen before, and some folks have said even credit charges have hit before confirmations post).

Do you have people that can look after the wee baby? I believe there's no better gift you can give a parent than the gift of not having to deal with their kid for a couple of days.

My wife will babysit at the Hilton; she doesn't go to most shows...but she tends to fall asleep by 9pm so your kids would be mostly on their own after that

Absolutely - it's more the thought of traveling home and not getting to spend much time with baby on her first Mother's Day. Any other weekend, no big deal.

Logistically doesn't help that I would be flying in from Chicago and meeting her in Nashville straight from a work conference...but I'm confident we'll make this happen.

$20 or less should be about right. There are lots of Ubers/Lyfts so quantity won't be an issue. As mentioned there will be surge pricing after, but go have a drink at the many, many bars in downtown (or walk a few blocks away from downtown) and it'll be all good.

Unfortunately our fine city has no type of public transportation (besides limited bus service).

    Wow that is interesting.

I did Charlotte, Birmingham, and Nashville. All 3 had epic crowds. Bridgestone I believe is the largest of those 3 arenas, though, and of course it was packed.

I love being able to walk in at 8:30 with zero security line, have a fantastic spot on the floor like 8 people back from the rail due to the band playing 360 degrees. Then Met comes on around 9 and blows it up.

So for this tour I have their "Black Ticket", which is like $500-600 that they sold last March, and there are 500 of them. They let you see unlimited shows on the North American Tour from September 2017 to March 2018, and it comes with early entry. It's genius. And of course it sold out instantly.

When I checked in at Bridgestone, the guy flipped like 4 pages worth of names. He looks at me and says, "Wow I know what you're thinking, I thought the same thing." The other shows I saw had about 30-40 people of those 500 attend them. Nashville? Just over 170 of the 500 were there. That's WILD. Great music city!
