Holy shit, get a load of this. So the band's playing a show over in Sweden tonight, on just the 2nd song in the set (Monkeywrench, incidentally my personal fave FF song) Dave Grohl falls off the stage and breaks his leg.

They cart him off, Taylor Hawkins comes off drums and provides the vocals on some stuff so, I guess they're figuring they can try and give the audience a little bit more of something at that point. But then a little while later, Grohl comes back out with his leg all wrapped up, and he's laid out in a chair but then proceeds to play out the rest of the show

I'm sure his veins were chock full of morphine or something by then

I've got them at the Gentlemen of the Road stopover in Washington on 8/14, then at the Gorge on 9/12. Still 2 months to that first show, guess we'll see.

Hoping this won't affect the US dates. I am really excited for Wrigley. Keep in mind that by late August, while he likely won't be completely healed, he should be OK enough to stand and perform as long as he's not running around the stage, jumping etc. That would be my hope, anyways. Pretty sure it was played in small theatres. I saw them do an acoustic set at the Bridge School Benefit in 2011 at Shoreline and it was fantastic.

I think Memphis (my show) is the one of the last ones of the tour so hopefully they don't cancel that far out. I missed seeing them a few years ago and really regret it. Would love to see them on tour supporting Sonic Highways.
