Several years back, someone here came upon a quote from Coran that he was targeting a fall '94 show to be released as a LT. He mentioned a wrong date that the same Ant assumed was the Great American Hall show. Wonder what happened to that, maybe they don't have a multitracked fall '94 after all?

The SBD of that show is available, or certainly was. Really good quality. Excellent show. If they do indeed have the multi-track of this out there it would be amazing.

If I'm remembering correctly they were being recorded but it was kind of a surprise. I think Dave mentions "someone brought recording equipment unannounced so they might as well". Typical Dave comment of course. I wonder if the tape still exists or if it's one of those that might not have come across all that well or damaged or something.

I'm guessing the band/Dave would get really nervous about knowingly being recorded for a potential official release. I can see it being an issue. So Coran just dropped it on them, that we're doing this tonight.

Don't hold me to that quote on that particular show.


But it's a fantastic early days show if you haven't listened. High energy. Early band starting out, trying to make a live record for the first time, playing in a big city in SF across the the country.

Finally got around to listening to LT59. It was merely eh. Don’t feel like I’m going back to listen to it much with all the other great releases the band has already given us or will give to us. Not a fan of ‘14 or ‘15, the gimmick years.

I think that, So Right, and the very brief Good Good Time will be what I revisit most from this.

You nailed it on the head with the November Fox Theatre run. I'm a big fan of LT30, so I wouldn't mind if they selected tracks over the three nights from Boulder like they did with the Muse in August '93.

The only reason LT30 was a compilation was because they didn’t have workable multitracked shows fully of either of those nights, they gave us what they had. If I have that correct. Which is a relief, they should stick to the mantra of giving us full complete nights within the LTs.

Was not a big fan of LT 30 went it came out, but if I put it on shuffle now, I like the recordings and the versions of those songs. It's just now a proper "show" to listen to from start to finish and obvious whoever put the tracklist together was not Dave, as those songs have no flow to them.

Oh yeah, that's rough. Dave really liked to place You & Me, Time Bomb, Everyday, Jimi near the end of sets in 2010. The only redeeming quality is the crowd energy.

But for that, I like Live Trax 10. Even livelier crowd and better setlist. Plus, it has Roi.
