Yes pay for parking. $40+! Yankees have a spring training game Sunday too so lots are limited early in the day. Website says parking will be at Hillsborough Community College. Does anyone know if they allow tailgating?

I’ll be at the hard rock all weekend if anyone else is around gambling, tourney watching and wants to hang! Don’t plan on leaving the hotel casino til third eye blind.

Anyone know about merch tents/posters from previous festivals? Is it the same mad rush like a regular show? When do the merch tents open?

Best I can tell not all the bands have their merchandise but I could see Dave Matthews Band making a poster and maybe a generic shirt or two that just has the band name on it

Merch was wide open at gate open last year.

Made my mind up today to skip this. Weather will be gross, I've had a long couple weeks at work, still have a sore calf muscle after pulling it a couple weeks ago, festival setlist, festival crowd, just not worth it.

Was originally planning on going, but I think my mind is where yours is now. I almost PMed you to see if you were gonna go, but I still didn't know what I was gonna do yet

Weather actually looks great. Not supposed to rain anymore, and it'll be cool out...perfect for me. But tickets + fees + tax are now like $160 a pop (plus parking). When I saw that I was like ehhhhhh I don't know if I can convince myself to pull the trigger for a 3/4 set of mediocre songs with a festival crowd. Plus you can't really get cheaper resale tickets/bands for this and not be guaranteed you're not getting scammed. Besides the weather, the only other silver lining is that D&T played Cry Freedom and Busted Stuff a month ago, and those are basically the top 2 songs I'm still chasing. But the chances a DMB festival would actually get those is probably slim to none. And even if Tampa miraculously does, I can still try to go to WPB in a few months.

It actually did turn out to be a decent day weather wise, but I'm already in lay on the couch and watch basketball all day mode. I had the same thought about the secondary market, just too much risk involved there.

i dont have much - we got there late yesterday mostly to see Weezer and Imagine Dragons.

i got a ride there yesterday and today i'm planning to walk over from my hotel (near international mall), so don't know much on parking. if you're good with a 20 min walk, you may be able to park for free at the mall. luckily the fest is set up on the side of raymond james closest to there.

we got there during pitbull's set so that we could go over to the other stage and get a good spot for Weezer. I wasn't paying attention too much on sound coming from the main stage, so not sure how well you'll be able to hear avett brothers, but i plan to stay put for mumford and then dmb.

DMB merch had what looked to be their summer tour t-shirt. but didnt see any posters (it was late too).

sorry i dont have more. did see and talked to a lot of DMB fans, so should be a good crowd today.
