Re: **Official North Carolina 2022 - Charlotte, Raleigh**

I would love to see DMB in Wilmington over Memorial Day Weekend!!! That would be pretty epic. But not the Tuesday or Wednesday following. Dang. I see Atlanta is on a Tuesday night, can't swing that. I guess my only hope at seeing DMB this summer is in Charleston (have too many other travel plans this summer to plan a DMB destination trip), not sure if I can talk the wifey into that or not. I guess we've been spoiled with weekend Charlotte shows as of late. Oh well

Well, if I'm going to pitch this to my wife, I might as well swing for the fence and go for the 2xCharleston shows too!

i've been living in the area since late 2020!! i will try to leave most of the official recommendations to people who have lived here for longer, but yes, it's a really unique part of the continent, i didn't realize how much until getting here.

there are both lots of very chill beach areas to the north, south, and directly east of Wilmington, and, wonderful natural areas overall. there is a really beautiful and relaxing smallish town called Southport that is somewhat close by that will hopefully be recommended in the actual official 2023 thread!!

Lived in Wilmington since 2019, great city with lots of beach access. Probably the best place to see a show in NC, and I've been to all the other venues. Great to see my favorite band coming to my (now) hometown. Let's go!

    How is the Wilmington venue?

My wife's family lives on Oak Island so thinking of hitting these in addition to Charleston!

I have lived in Charlotte since 2005 and it hasn't happened since then. Somewhat disappointed that there are no stops in Charlotte or Raleigh in 2023. Getting in and out of the Charlotte venue can be a pain. Also, rumor is that attendance has been down in both cities (Charlotte and Raleigh). Perhaps some of the factors that led to the decision?

Even if they released another series of stops, most would be during the week based on the current tour schedule.

Perhaps this is an excuse to see them in Wilmington or Charleston. Have not been to the venues there yet.

That's the way I'd look at it if I were you - take the year and try something new - I get it though - Pittsburgh (Burgettstown) went from 2 shows a year to 1 show every other year at this point. Seems Blossom in Cleveland has gone the same way now - oh well. I get a home show this year, and miss Blossom.
