Only 40% chance as of now. It changes everyday, so I wouldnt worry much about it until Friday night.

Amazing that its still gonna be shorts weather with the high humidity.

Local forecast last night said the rain Saturday will be very scattered. Best indication won’t be till late Friday or even Saturday. Here’s to hoping

Does anyone have an extra VIP or Premiere parking pass? Or seen them around?

    Cheers!

Been forever since I have been to Alpine, how easy is it to sneak in a water bottle of vodka? My girlfriends dad doesn’t do beer and wanted to make him happy.

Can’t really say as I haven’t done it in years, but I remember thinking how quick the “security check” was for my girlfriend and I at DMB Alpine in July. They really didn’t search us worth a damn.

They did sell mixed drinks inside the venue, at crazy prices of course. Along with high beer prices.

Was at DMB in July and I must have been at a different entrance because security was TIGHT. They were heavily searching everyone.

    Just another data point.

Security depends on the person doing the searching. Sometimes they frisk you like crazy other times you get waved right in.

It says you can bring a sealed water bottle in. I was just curious if they actually check the seal or if you can just fill it with vodka.

I've been looking for the last few days and haven't seen any pop until today. Just snagged a VIP pass from someone on the WH. That works for us, but would prefer a premier pass if anyone wants to swap their premier for a VIP. We have friends who will be in premier so we would like to setup close to them if possible.

I was going to call Alpine to see if we would be able to pay cash there to get in premier until I saw the day of show info on their FB stating that would not be an option.

Just a heads up, there are a ton of cheap tickets left on Seat Geek for lawn. Got two yesterday for $63 after fees.

Really curious to see how full the place gets. Initially billing it a “sell out” before dropping tons of tickets, no surprise.

They will have food tents in the lawn so it will not be a full lawn.

Food tents on the lawn? There’s a ton of space up top the hill on the flatish black top area where they have permanent concession stands. Why would they put tents in the lawn?

Decided not to make the trip but I hope the weather works out for you all. Lawns going for $12 on seatgeek... pavilions for $200 a pair after the fees.

Parts of the lots were muddy after some rain for DMB in July. Could be interesting if it rains throughout the day

This is going to be a nightmare with the mud. I wish I just waited to buy tickets, I could have sat in pavilion for same price as lawns. Smh

The rain definitely didn’t ADD to the good times, but it was a good time nonetheless! Almost forget how amazing Tim is until he’s playing acoustic in your face.

Got there around 5. Heavy rain until about 545 then it was good the rest of the night. Really fun time and as others said, Neil Young was amazing. Best act of the night.

Forgot how steep the lawn was at Alpine. People were drunk falling everywhere but we had a good time. The lawn was PACKED. It’s almost like they oversold it, but all in all it was fun. Nathaniel rateliff is amazing live and D&T set was a welcome surprise.

i slipped and fell three times, twice in the same spot near the upper lawn stairs heading down to concessions/restrooms. never spilt the beer, though.

i stake out the same spot whenever i go to alpine and the lawn was definitely the most full i'd seen it since maybe the 07-08 dmb shows there.

first time ever seeing a dave & tim set (save for the one or two songs at bonnaroo '04 and at the '15 2sets shows). my expectations were met, and it was just fun to see them in that setting.

lukas nelson + band were the days mvps. their set was really good and i'm glad they brought out multiple guests, something most other bands either didn't do or did for just one song. plus the kid with the guitar strapped on and 'playing' during the set was endearing. and obviously backing up neil and willie, they were the glue.

yola was a nice discovery, will be exploring her music more. bonnie raitt's set was the most musically interesting of the night (an inxs cover of need you tonight, angel from montgomery, burning down the house, a solo blues cover for srv...). and as others have also said, neil was great. as a pearl jam fan, it was cool to see him do throw your hatred down, and i love harvest moon.

FarmAid and Alpine just seem like a natural fit. It was a wet, sloppy, beautiful day. I loved every second of it. I've never seen the lawn that full and I was thankful to have pavilion seats. Great time.
